Publisher's Summary

I am a man who had nothing but found everything. I'll never go back to nothing ever again. I vowed to protect her, and that's exactly what I'm gonna do. The pictures I stumbled upon haunt me still; the secret I shoulder is heavy. They say secrets put distance between two people, but the truth is far more destructive than keeping it will ever be. I won't ever tell. She can't ever know. When I look in the mirror, my reflection is of who I'm afraid I'll become and not the man I am. It makes me feel like a poser, no better than all the others pretending to be exactly who they aren't. How does a man keep it together when everything is unraveling right here in his hands?

Nothing But Love For This Series

If you like New Adult romance, definitely read this series. {Begin with book one.} The characters' lives are far from the normal college student which makes the entire series far from the normal new adult romance that sometimes is starting to feel a bit overdone.

This series is a stand out so far. (Though the narrators for book four and five are not my fave)

Great Book Terrible narration

What disappointed you about #Poser?

I really enjoyed the book...but the narration was by someone who should never try to imitate young adults

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator had an old voice and distracted from the writing of the book

Very heavy material, but great writing. Love the continuing story. Hate Zachary! B is amazing!

Just read the book

I couldn’t get past chapter 3 of this audio book with the horrible narration. Why they’d choose a guy who sounds like he’s years past middle age, with a weird wise guy voice to narrate a story of a college kid is beyond me. Totally ruined it, I’ll just read this one.

Loved the book but hated the narrator

I really don’t know who didn’t listen to this narrator before approving them to read for this series of books. This guy sounds like 50 something year old mob boss from New York. WTF. Braden is a 21 year old college student! It totally ruined the entire book. I listened to about 20 minutes and couldn’t take anymore. I kept waiting for him say cheesey mob movie lines. God it was awful! Read the actual book on this one.

The drama is insane!

I thought I was going to lose my mind reading this book. I hate Missy and Zach so much and wanted to reach through the book and strangle them. Ivy is so sweet and doesn't deserve people lying to her or trying to hurt her. I do like Braeden a lot, but he messes up a bit in this one. He loves Ivy and I get what he was trying to do, but bad decision bro. I did enjoy seeing Romeo play pro and be a big brother to Ivy.
These books are full of drama and romance and I love it! Excited to read the next one.

Excellent addition to the series. End of an enemy, beginning of relationship. Narration was good and enhanced the story.

Very good!!

I really enjoyed book 1 & 2 of this series. Book 3...not so much. But only because there was a LOT of repetitive inner dialogue. However book 4 was very good and I am excited to continue listening to the rest of the series. (Although still not a huge fan of the male narrator)
