Powerful
What did you love best about Power Foods for the Brain?
This book was jam-packed with nutritional information that I loved. Dr. Barnard puts the medical information in layman's turns so it is easy to understand and comprehend. Sometimes nutritionists and doctors use their medical terms and expect you to understand what they're saying. There was so much information that I wanted to remember or highlight and so I bought the book! He gives such compelling information from our diets, to vitamins, minerals, exercise, and sleep. Jeremy Arthur also did a great job in narrating the book.

SUPERB! Thank you for the “science” behind this book.
Very concise and easy to follow. Longevity runs on both sides of my family. However, I have seen that my brothers and sisters do not enjoy a quality of life that my father and mother enjoyed into their last years. Mental clarity well into their nineties - father died at 95 and mother just shy of 100. A must read for not only those that are approaching their senior years but for the young. This book offers hope and guidance to make the changes in what we eat so we can grow old gracefully.

Nothing New to Add
A lot of information but nothing too new to add to the conversation. Another urge to move to be vegan and conflicts some information with other books I have read about Blue Zones, these zones are not vegetarian however only eat meat once a week and usually not red meat. Also, never heard anything bad about drinking tea in relation to toxic minerals in the leaves. I always heard about health benefits for tea. Always good to hear different views to expand my knowledge!
