Publisher's Summary

An overscheduled princess gets a day off - and a deliciously wicked crocodile a day on.

Princess Cora is sick of boring lessons. She's sick of running in circles around the dungeon gym. She's sick, sick, sick of taking three baths a day. And her parents won't let her have a dog. But when she writes to her fairy godmother for help, she doesn't expect that help to come in the form of a crocodile - a crocodile who does not behave properly. With perfectly paced dry comedy, children's book luminaries Laura Amy Schlitz and Brian Floca send Princess Cora on a delightful outdoor adventure - climbing trees! Getting dirty! Having fun! - while her alter ego wreaks utter havoc inside the castle, obliging one pair of royal helicopter parents to reconsider their ways.

great for my 6 year old girl

very engaging for both myself and my daughter. the not-to-long chapter length and imaganitive plot kept her involved, and it was a well written (rich description of people and events) so I enjoyed it too. great narration as well.

Audio Bad Quality

It sounds like it’s skipping - entire words are cut out. Couldn’t get past the first minute. No idea about the story because we couldn’t listen.

Favorite

This is one of my favorite books! My girls (5 & 10 years old) giggle throughout the story. We absolutely love both the audio and printed versions! The illustrations & feel of the printed book are lovely! The audio is a delight as well!
