Publisher's Summary
Washington insiders operate by a proven credo: When a Peter Schweizer book drops, duck and brace for impact.
For over a decade, the work of five-time New York Times best-selling investigative reporter Peter Schweizer has sent shock waves through the political universe.
Clinton Cash revealed the Clintons’ international money flow, exposed global corruption, and sparked an FBI investigation. Secret Empires exposed bipartisan corruption and launched congressional investigations. And Throw Them All Out and Extortion prompted passage of the STOCK Act. Indeed, Schweizer’s "follow the money" bombshell revelations have been featured on the front pages of the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, and regularly appear on national news programs, including 60 Minutes.
Now, Schweizer and his team of seasoned investigators turn their focus to the nation’s top progressives - politicians who strive to acquire more government power to achieve their political ends.
Can they be trusted with more power?
In Profiles in Corruption, Schweizer offers a deep-dive investigation into the private finances and secrets deals of some of America’s top political leaders. And, as usual, he doesn’t disappoint, with never-before-reported revelations that uncover corruption and abuse of power - all backed up by a mountain of corporate documents and legal filings from around the globe. Learn about how they are making sweetheart deals, generating side income, bending the law to their own benefits, using legislation to advance their own interests, and much more.
Profiles in Corruption contains tomorrow’s headlines.

unbelievable
It's amazing how the news media do not expose all of these politicians and lawyers.

Enlightening & Horrifying!!
I knew that politicians worked based on their own self interest, but had no idea to what extent their decisions could be shaped and justified by these self interests. This book is very timely and although I appreciate the subjects of this book and the information it contains,I’m sure every member of Congress, state and local representatives, etc. that read this will feel a bit of apprehension as I’m sure this happens with conservatives just as often.
I cannot believe these individuals can look themselves in the mirror. I don’t know the answer, seems any safeguards that could be put in place these weasels would find a way around them.
To Peter Schweizer: Thank you for what you do. Please continue. It is so refreshing to hear actual truth, no matter how depressing it is....

Very Informative
Firstly Charles Constant is always a very well spoken narrator. The subject matter is very very interesting and makes me wonder as an independent why some of these people mentioned have not yet been arrested. Worth the listen, goes to show being a politician is more lucrative then the meager payment given to them by the government.

What the media will not print
Nothing to see here; it's just about corrupt democrat/progressive politicians and their families. Although most of the attention PROFILES IN CORRUPTION has garnered is about the Biden family there is a lot more here. Well done!
Audible recently took away the "No" response option to the "Helpful" question concerning reviews. Although most of my reviews are of mystery/thriller novels, I also review some political books and that is where I got most of my unhelpful votes from leftists. They must be disappointed!

A welcome expose' on government's abuse of power
I can't say enjoyed reading about the rampant lies, corruption and abuse of power that exsists in our government, but it is something I need to know. I appreciate Peter Scweizer's hard work in researching and bringing this information to light, especially considering the retribution corrupt politicians are known to exact on those that oppose or expose them.
While I do appreciate the knowledge I gained from Profiles In Corruption, I was a bit disappointed that it focused solely on champagne socialists and ignored the corruption that exsists on both sides of the isle as Schweizer did in his 2018 book - Secret Empires.
I recommend this book to everyone, especially socialists, so we - as voters - can take out the trash and finally get some quality individuals in government.

Excellent work!
Sadly, this does not surprise me. Never trusted any of these ppl. Great work and very interesting! Harris is a really shady character. Never knew the depths of how much until now. Glad she's out of the race. Hopefully this will get the rest of them out also.

Interesting for sure
While the book focuses on the corruption of several liberal politicians I have no doubt there’s plenty of politicians on the other side of the aisle he could have also covered. With that said it would be interesting to have had him include chapters on others either trying to bring down the president or the rest of the politicians running for president.
Maybe there will be a part two?

Shocking!
It is incredibly shocking how these people are running for the highest office in the Nation and not behind bars!!! Proof that in government it is a ‘Do as well say, not as we do’ office. They are ‘above’ the law. This make me so frustrated!!
