The blueprint to life.

Some Hebrews advise that these two books are the blueprints to living a holy and successful life. All the real questions for living according to God's will can be found in these books. Everyone should read them daily.

Great for Daily Listening

#audible1
The change in narrators is helpful and both have clear expressive voices. The music at the beginning of each day is helpful.

Bible encouragement

If you could sum up Psalms and Proverbs for Commuters in three words, what would they be?

I felt this book was a good one, An insightful daily walk, It encourages the heart, cheers and assure the soul of Good in our world.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Psalms and Proverbs for Commuters?

knowing the psalms and proverbs was used is good.

What does Theodore Bikel and Kristoffer Tabori bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

a voice to listen to, invite feeling and reason within the heart in the things that matter with God.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

no as I needed to hear encouragement.

Any additional comments?

Well its a good way to learn more about the scriptures, but it a really great way to meditate on better things for up building and heartfelt strengthening from God in a personal way.

I'm in love 😍 with this audio!

It lifts my spirit in the morning and it's like a lullaby for me at night 😇.
He narrates with passion and life! If only one small minus is that the intro music volume can be a tad much, but if your trying to get the day started, it's probably welcomed 😅.
It's a wonderful meditation anytime, anywhere. When waiting at the doctor or dental office, I put my bluetooth headphones on and enjoy the wait. I can say many good things about this audio and I'm totally grateful to God for it 🙌🏾!

The narration is done nicely.

I enjoyed listening. The two narrators spoke with meaning. I enjoy the Bible in drama and this is similar.

Music Background Amplifies Beauty and Truths of Psalms and Proverbs

All of human experience is encapsulated in the Psalms and Proverbs. When our own fears devour our faith and strength, we can seek God in His Word and hear how He increases our faith and renews our strength! It helps me to stop the audio to review an insight and jot down which chapter is being read so I can look it up later. Also, I use a study Bible to understand difficult passages or strange words. (I recommend the MacArthur Study Bible). This audio presentation of the Psalms and Proverbs is exquisite! The musical background is varied and artfully woven with the meaning of the text. Also, there are multiple narrators, which enriches the listening experience.

Bikel is best; Tabori is good but a bit "dramatic"

All in all, this is a very good recording.

Generally, I don't prefer background music, but for a recording that has it, this is good.
