Absolutely my favorite in the series. So much adventure, excitement, twists, and drama. I take this one as the finale even though there are more books, as it was so satisfying.

I love these characters and the narrator does a spectacular job of bringing them to life. Really enjoyed this final chapter in Em and Creon’s story.

Story:
* the FMC is very admirable - she fights well with both sword and magic, becomes stronger under pressure, and can out-smart her enemies in dire situations (growth is very apparent compared to the previous entries)
* the conclusion to the series is satisfying
* there is a little bit less spice in the final book, which is fine since it doesn't interrupt the story too much

Performance:
* same actress is flawless throughout the whole series
