Publisher's Summary
From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Kristen Ashley comes a new story in her Dream Man series...
Charlotte “Lottie” McAlister is in the zone. She’s ready to take on the next chapter of her life, and since she doesn’t have a man, she’ll do what she’s done all along. She’ll take care of business on her own. Even if that business means starting a family.
The problem is, Lottie has a stalker. The really bad kind. The kind that means she needs a bodyguard.
Enter Mo Morrison.
Enormous. Scary.
Quiet.
Mo doesn’t say much, and Lottie’s used to getting attention. And she wants Mo’s attention. Badly.
But Mo has a strict rule. If he’s guarding your body, that’s all he’s doing with it.
However, the longer Mo has to keep Lottie safe, the faster he falls for the beautiful blonde who has it so together, she might even be able to tackle the demons he’s got in his head that just won’t die.
But in the end, Lottie and Mo don’t only have to find some way to keep hands off until the threat is over, they have to negotiate the overprotective Hot Bunch, Lottie’s crazy stepdad, Tex, Mo’s crew of frat-boy commandos, not to mention his nutty sisters.
All before Lottie finally gets her Dream Man.
And Mo can lay claim to his Dream Girl.

Two amazing series collide!
You forget sometimes how much you love a series, when time has passed, and it has been a while. The characters and situations, still there in your memories, fade and become sometime you smile softly about when you think of them. Then you read a book, a new book, in that series, a book to start a new series that you know you will love as much, and all those emotions flood over you. They crash through you, brining that same joy, contentment, fire, passion, longing, want, and fulfillment, just as strong as it ever was. The Dream Man series took me there the first time, and this book sucked me right back in!
Mo, sweet, strong, silent, self-doubting Mo. One of Hawk’s commando’s, an elite team that gets things done. However they are needed. Without question of consequence. Stealthy and deadly, they are the ones in the shadows that the boogeyman hides from. Heart of gold, protector, and an appreciation and understanding of women that comes from having four older sisters and have been raised by a strong independent woman. Lottie took one look, and knew he was her man, and he proved his worthiness of that the entire time they were together. Like, always and at every turn, proved he got his woman, and she was his. Lottie showed Mo, at every turn, and every time, he had no flaws, he was perfect as he was. She saw him through eyes that weren’t rose-coloured, and found him exactly how she wanted him, and that was someone who was worthy of all the love she had to give
Lottie had lots to figure out, her life, where she fits in it. She doesn’t realize, but where Mo is confused about some things regarding himself, he is confident where he belongs in people’s lives. Lottie thinks she is, but she realizes she didn’t quite have that right. With her family, her extended family, his family, his extended family, and her friends, and her Mo. Lottie learns she is loved beyond compare, and Mo brought that to her. He brought her, to a life she had full, and was fulfilling, more love, caring, and emotion, than she ever thought was possible. He didn’t make her a new woman; he opened her eyes to the woman she already was
Some suspense, but really, a story so focused on Mo and Lottie, as they are together the entire book, with very little exception. They get to know each other, and fall in love. There is a great slow burn, and some amazing fireworks. There are deep emotions, and quick blow ups. There are a lot of familiar faces, and a whole new set to fall in love with. I loved every moment of Mo and Lottie’s story, and when it stopped, I was happy, but I never wanted it to end!

I LOVED this book right from the beginning to the end. I love Smithy and everything he tells Lottie.
Lottie is exactly how I remember her from the RC books. <3
Mo oh Mo is PERFECT for Lottie I love him and how he falls for her. All at once it was beautiful. These kinds of books just make me love romance that much more than I did before.

Great Start to the Series!!
I loved this book!! Mo was not much of a talker at all, however when it came to his Lottie he was full of words. There was a little bit of suspense, and great chemistry. I loved the Lottie knew what she wanted and she was not holding back at all. She went after Mo with everything that she had, and no matter how he tried he had no choice but to fall. I cannnot wait for the rest of the series to be written. I love Susannah Jones, she is a diamond in the rough and you will enjoy her narration!!

Sweet, quick listen
I loved this story! Not too angsty, yet not boring at all, which is impossible to find. I loved that Mac stood her ground on her profession, though we dont know if she continues to strip in the epilogue. Mo was AMAZING!! I loved him!
HEA by the end. My only complaint is, we weren't given the name of the baby. Haha. I was hoping it was from Mo's heritage.

I need you to trust
Quiet Man is a Dream Man Novella which brings back some of our favorite characters from Kristen Ashley’s Rock Chick Series and The Dream Man Series! I have always been a KA fan and especially (when it comes to her Rock Chick and Dream Man Series) I simply will never get enough. Charlotte “Lottie” McAlister is Jet’s Sister and Smithie’s Headlining Dancer. She has had years of watching her sister (and the other Rock Chicks) meet their man and yet, she is still riding solo. Now that her biological clock is ticking, she is desperate to find her man and start a family. When her life is unexpectedly put in jeopardy (welcome back to the Rock Chick World) Smithie hires Hawk Delgado (yummy Dream Man) to put protection detail on her. Mo Morrison is large and in charge. He knows he is not supposed to fall in love with his “job” and yet, Lottie is everything he never knew he wanted. As the two fall madly in love with each other, they have to keep their hands off until the job is done and catch the man who is trying to harm her.
Told in multiple POV, Quiet Man is an enjoyable read that will appeal to Rock Chick and Dream Man fans because it brings back so many of our favorite characters. The writing style is KA Rock Chick style with a few twists of fun. Mo’s friends introduce an entirely new group of characters to swoon over. Additionally, Mo’s family was fun and enhanced the story greatly.
Overall, I highly recommend Quiet Man to KA fans who want to get back with the Rock Chicks and enjoy a HEA for Jet’s sister Lottie! Novellas are not my fave because I prefer to dive deep into a story however, Lottie and Mo were a sweet little delight! I will forever be a faithful KA fan and especially when the Rock Chicks are in the mix, my Kindle and I are ready and waiting!

Meh.
I wanted to like this story. Liked the male lead character. The female- Lottie, not so much. She's confident and independent- good qualities- but hers seem to edge towards cocky and vain. She's very shallow about all of the material things in her life. Maybe that's what K. Ashley was going for in her writing, I don't know. The plot was thin. Supposed to be about someone threatening Lottie but there wasn't a lot of depth to it. It seemed to take a back seat to the romance part. I skipped parts in the story when the Lottie character started ranting and raving about various issues. The stripping thing, women's issues, etc. It seemed like the author decided to use this story to spew out her own points of view on subjects. It was too much. While it's great to have important issues in this type of fiction, the reader also wants to get away from all the crap going on in the outside world for awhile. The narrator was good. She does this series characters very well.

Great addition to the Rock Chick series
I love KA’s Rock chick series and have been waiting for Lottie to get her HEA. love how the two series got together and I got to visit with old fav like the hot bunch and introduced to new characters like Hawk’s crew. Susannah Jones is fabulous as usual bringing all the characters to life. Her Lottie is strong, sassy and sexy as can be and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Just love Ashley
I’ve had this in my tbr for a while now and finally pressed play. It did not disappoint. I wish the suspense was a little more dramatic but I love Ashley’s writing so it was fine. I love how she makes the characters be actual adults with little to no misunderstandings. Just great writing which makes her characters stand out and you root for them wholeheartedly.
