All it takes is one ill-fated foul ball, and George Hoffman, Lumberjacks center fielder, falls head over heels in love with Wrigley Field - and yes, that is her real name.

From that point forward, George and Wrigley fall into a fast whirlwind love that ends with them eloping to Vegas. And he has his potty-mouth, titty-bar-owning, pain-in-the-ass grandmother to thank for it. Not that he's complaining or anything. Who wouldn't want to be married to a woman that made his heart race like he was in the final game of the World Series?

The only problem is trying to convince her of that.

Since reading the first book of this series my heart was in my throat most of this book but I couldn’t stop listening. I was petrified it would have a sad ending. Such a good read!

The beginning of the book was so good but then the girl became soooooo dumb and threw all by the window and don’t do anything to fix it even when she knew it was her fault, why…??? Any way I was so sad for these book because I loved the first ☹️I’ll continue with the next with the hope that It’ll be better

that is 5 hours I will not get back.. I just keep listening to see if it would get better... it's didn't.. this is just a toxic relationship..

When a book starts with drunken Las Vegas wedding you know you are in potential trouble as a reader. Add to that a pregnancy shortly after meeting, a male lead who is perfect (other than lack of condom use), and a TSTL heroine. By the time the most ridiculous reason for breaking up and the wife's ludicrous ensuing thought process, I couldn't stop shaking my head in disbelief. This author has written a number of light romance stories, but this is just silly. Kudos to the narrators for plowing through.
