Publisher's Summary

With brand new material exclusive to this Updated American Edition, here - in his own words - is the story of the newest member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship Hall of Fame, Britain's own Rocky Balboa, Michael Bisping.

Featuring an entirely new chapter for US readers, the story of his induction into the UFC Hall of Fame, fresh insights about his fighting career, never-before-told stories about his film and TV career, and a harrowing account of his fighting off attempted kidnappers while filming in South Africa, Quitters Never Win tells the incredible story of how he went from rough and humble beginnings and then on to a legendary mixed martial arts career capped by winning the Middleweight Championship in one of the greatest upsets in UFC history.

Loaded with the humor and brutal honesty that first won him a following on the television show Ultimate Fighter 3, Bisping recounts his record setting 13-year fight career battling the likes of Anderson Silva, Georges St-Pierre, and Dan Henderson.

The most engaging UFC color analyst in recent memory, and a budding film and television star, Bisping tells his story in a way that only he knows how.

It’s good, he’s a true fighter

Only criticism is should have definitely been narrated by the man himself.. The narrator has a high class British accent that doesn’t have the street smarts and charisma of the author.. Other than that it’s a great mma book..

voice your own book

next time voice your own audio book. This guy pronounced Jacare as jackaree... more authors should voice their own books

Meh

How does Bisbing go from running a successful podcast where people enjoy hearing his voice and takes to having some random narrate the book? completely ruined it for me. Don't recommend

Great Story, not a fan of Cowley

I fairly enjoyed Michael Bisping's retelling of his career in this book through his rose-colored lenses.

However the choice of using Jonathan Cowley was a mistake in my opinion, he does not capture the fighting spirit in his voice needed to retell Michael bisping's career. Not to mention the constant mispronunciation of words that distract from the story being told.

Honest and funny

The title made me hesitate, I think it’s cheesy but I’m glad I listened to despite my apprehensions. It’s funny, well written, inspiring and definitely not cheesy.

Great Story, Great account of Bisping's career

The narrator struggled to pernounce some names of the other fighters. A review would have been helpful

Good Book

Bisping's story is a good one. I think this would have been a 5 star review if Bisping himself had read the audiobook. The narrator does a decent job but lacks the passion & emotion that Bisping would have brought.

Best MMA of fight book yet.

The only reason I didn’t give the book a complete five star review is due to the fact I would have like Michael to read and narrate the book himself.

Great story of a UFC pioneer

Didn't really care for the narrator and wish Bisping would have went more in depth of his struggles growing up. Quite a bit of "fast forwarding" and might have used the word "literally" a bit too much 😉

amazing listen

I burned through this book in a couple days. The narrator was good, but I wish the author had narrated it, but I understand why he didn't.

Became a fan

Purchased this audible book on a whim. No reason. Glad I did!!! Even at 50 I found it refreshing, exciting and inspiring. Thanks for reinforcing discipline over motivation. Best of luck in future endeavors Mr. Bisping.

Awesome book.

i really became a Bisping fan after hearing him on the believe you me podcast so for the most part I knew most of the stories but it was still great to hear them. The only con is him not reading the book but you can still picture everything in your head while it’s being read.

Immersive into the person Bisping truly is

Bisping has an amazing story to tell about his story from getting into bar fights to being a world champion. Not only does he have an interesting story to tell, Bisping brings you along his life’s story.

I highly recommend this book for UFC fans

It was so interesting to see the career from THE COUNT'S point of view. This was a heck of a book and I highly recommend it.
