This book is awesome and the performance is great too. What really makes this book one of a kind is the true stories within. As much as I recommend this book, I recommend the RISK podcast even more. Hearing these and countless more true stories told by person who experienced it is beyond words and breathes a whole new life into the stories themselves. Whether you liked this book or not , you need to go find the risk podcast and listen to at least 3 episodes. It is the only podcast that has held my attention without wavering. Do yourself a favour and “take a risk”.

Must read/listen

The stories are enjoyable and very moving but something gets lost in the narration. I wish the authors had read them, that they were told live or that there was some background music like in the podcast. If you’re expecting to hear something like tr podcast, this is quite different.

When you are used to the Risk! podcast, the stories feel real and vibrant. Kevin and the other cast for this rendition are bland compared to the real thing. I was expecting the real people telling their stories since it's already in audio format...
