Cowboy
The main character was made to look like a bad ass cowboy, whose rash decision caused a lot of innocent deaths in the first six books. Almost made me wish someone would take her out and someone smarter would take over. Glad it’s fiction!

All 6 books (1-3, 4-6) Well Performed
All 6 books were done with a coherent theme and showed good research in putting together a story line that kept you interested and listening for the next moment.

Psychotic? Bipolar? Definitely a selfish nut job with blood lust.
I was hoping that after the first three books (thankfully just one credit for all) were a hot mess of completely unrealistic vengeful craziness that there would finally be a real story worth listening to. The characters… or at least the characters minus the testosterone crazed nut job that we’re supposed to believe is a female… all have great potential… too bad we’re going to veer off into fever dreamland insanity. This should be listed under fantasy for blood thirsty readers. I stopped listening 20 mins before the end of the first book in this box set. DONE with the selfish nut job.

Good series somewhat spoiled by the purformance
The best performances leave you fully involved in the story and not thinking about the performer. The performer in this case has a good voice but has two very annoying habits: 1. She makes slight clicking sound at the end of many passages and even worse she uses in inappropriate places the “smile voice” that some women affect. Usually you find it in commercials for upbeat products. It sounds like sprain is smiling broadly or almost laughing while they speak. Marnye Young thankfully does not do it all the time but does it too often and at completely inappropriate times - such as “he placed the barrel of the gun under his chin and placed his finger on the trigger (smile voice)”. I found myself screaming “it is not funny”!

Fun suspense series
Rachel Hatch series is a fun series to listen to. I listened to books 1-3 on a long road trip FL to MA and the 4-6 on the return. It kept me interested & entertained. A bit larger than life but fun to have a female heroine with a history rather than a male hero & she lands herself in some strange predicaments but has a solid code to live by.

Great deal - love these stories
I stumbled onto this after buying another book by Brian Shea (Nick Lawrence series). Enjoyed the writing style, the length of each book (each book was 6-7 hours) and the characters. Might be a good idea to read books 1-3 first as this is a continuation but it can also be read stand-alone.
