Publisher's Summary
There's only one thing missing - Bobby Pendragon.
While Bobby remains trapped on Ibara, the battle moves to his home territory: Second Earth. Mark Dimond and Courtney Chetwynde are left on their own to defend Second Earth against the forces of Saint Dane. They must face off against a charismatic cult leader who has risen to power by revealing a shattering truth to the people of Earth: They are not alone.
The Convergence has broken down the walls. The territories are on a collision course. The final phase of Saint Dane's quest to rule Halla is under way.
And Bobby Pendragon is nowhere to be found.

Amazing!
This whole experience has been wonderful and fantastic! I'm sad that there is only one book left in the series! But the performance by William Dufris is utterly amazing and entertaining!

Great book!
Great story overall! I really like the pendragon series. The reason I rated it 3 stars for story is because in a few of these last books it seems that there is lots of holes in the plot line and some of it is to obvious to ignore, it effects the entertainment value of the story for me. But overall a great book series.

Whiny and braindead characters
Narrator manages to keep everyone whining, and the writer manages to continue to keep the protagonists so braindead they are literally useless. After going through the same scenario multiple times, the protagonist keeps making same dumb choices, with zero character progression.

Another great book in the series
I remember reading these books as a kid and they were amazing but the narrator does a phenomenal job of bringing the story to life. Makes it sound like a book made for audible.

Horrifying
Would you try another book from D. J. MacHale and/or William Dufris?
no
What could D. J. MacHale have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Let something good happen to Bobby and keep it a little more realistic.
Which character ??? as performed by William Dufris ??? was your favorite?
Bobby
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Raven Rise?
I would have started the book over. Book 9 had such a bad ending.
Any additional comments?
The first 8 books of this series were excellent. However, book 9 had some far out twists and book 10, I was unable to finish.
