Publisher's Summary

This audiobook is about hypnosis and how to use it effectively. It will teach you what hypnosis is and how to hypnotize both individuals and groups of people anytime and anywhere you choose. No prior experience of hypnosis is required to understand and apply the knowledge in this book. The techniques are deceptively simple yet incredibly powerful. They are entirely practical and have been road tested over many years, with thousands of people.

This seminal book is renowned by hypnotists around the world, whether they are hobbyists or professionals.

The author is a vastly experienced hypnotist, hypnotherapist, and trainer. Hearing him narrate his own work really brings the techniques to life. You get to hear the nuances of pace, tone, and attitude that will improve your delivery.

Originally written in 2007, this is the updated edition from 2016. Each section of the book has been revisited; scripting improved and new material added.

The techniques in this book are simple, direct, and can be learned without any prior knowledge of hypnosis. They can be applied effectively in a real-world setting, well out of the comfort zone of the therapy room and without the luxury of a stage full of expectant subjects. They are entirely impromptu.

A compelling and illuminating listen

Jacquin provides just the right mix of theory and practical advice. He gets close to revealing the true nature of hypnosis and it's mechanisms by being honest how much of it still a mystery, and how theoretical frameworks are unrelated to good outcomes. His ethical advice, crucial in such enterprises, is salient and coherent. I am not feeling sleepy. My eyelids are light.

Real Deal

This is the resource I initially used in learning to become a hypnotist. I find it just as useful today as when I first read it years ago. The audio version is even better than the text. You get to hear Ant's tonalities, his pacing, his enthusiasm and expertise. I can't recommend this enough.

Having the ability to hear Anthony's voice gives you a real sense how he performs his craft.

The Plastic Mold

I've been interested in hypnosis for over 20 years and have a book collection and have taken a few classes but, seem to lack the confidence to really do anything with it. Then I stumbled across Zach Pincince on YouTube and he did a video of how he got started in hypnosis entertainment. He listed his influences to a book and a DVD set. I just received the order from Alakazam Magic in the UK. It took 6 weeks for the post to arrive - thanks COVID. Whatever.
A 4 DVD set showing the impromptu hypnosis techniques of the Manchurian Approach. Anthony Jacquin demonstrates the performer's skills behind the street and bars stand up entertainment. Stage hypnosis without the organization of a theater. I think of a bar brawl instead of a cage match. Amazing rapid rapport building anywhere. Worth the wait.
This book is also mentioned in the credits so I thought I'd give it a go. Anthony narrates exactly what he says during the various steps taken from greeting subjects to creating amnesia so they don't know he was ever there and so much more!
Don't miss out read/listen to the book then see what's possible on the DVD set.
The limits we set for ourselves form our reality - break the mold.
