As Reapers Motorcycle Club president, Reese "Picnic" Hayes has given his entire life to the club. After losing his wife, he knew he'd never love another woman. These days, Reese keeps his relationships free and easy - he definitely doesn't want to waste his time on a glorified cleaning lady like London Armstrong. Too bad he's completely obsessed with her.

Besides running her own business, London has her junkie cousin's daughter to look after. Sure she's attracted to the Reapers' president, but she's not stupid. When her young cousin gets caught up with a ruthless drug cartel, Reese might be the only man who can help her. REFORMED Skeptic about MC Series as Romance

Would you listen to Reaper's Stand again? Why?

Both the action packed excitement and romantic eroticism is so powerful one cannot help be drawn into the storyline

What other book might you compare Reaper's Stand to and why?

I have never read a storyline so different from the type of romance use to reading. Other romance has a definite Hero and Heroine. These books not so much, this is one of those books you find yourself trying to understand the bad boys and feeling a certain type of empathy for them.

What about Tatiana Sokolov and Sean Crisden ’s performance did you like?

Strong voices, liked hearing the story from both the man and woman's point of views

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Where you can truly find honor among thieves

Any additional comments?

As a rational female not sure how anyone could fall in Love with a man who seem so anti-monogamous. These stories do not fit the mold of Happily Ever After. But there is something so a about a man who is so loyal and dedicate to you that he would put his life on the line for you and yoursIt is also nice to listen to a sex, erotic storyline about true 30 and 40 something adults.

IT'S A RAW & GRITTY WORLD........ & I LOVED IT

Joanna Wylde's Reaper series is an auto download for me.... why you may ask? Well they're so well-written, action-packed, have great characters in them, there's always snappy witty dialogue, with hot sex scenes, a very sex-driven Alpha Hero who always finds his 'old lady' from an unusual romance and, despite all the hurdles put his way, manages to draw you into the unforgiving world of the MC Club.

In this one there's also blackmail, kidnapping, torture, rape, family tragedy, biker loyalty and a battle that has all the MC Clubs banding together to overcome the threat that's been building in each book. As London has to make a no win decision the poop really hits the fan big time for her so it's a good job she eventually proved herself worthy to be Reese's old lady in the end.

Worth a credit? It's a raw gritty world that has it's own lifestyle and rules of conduct but once you've been accepted in they're a caring, protective and loyal band of brothers. And if you think you can listen to their often crude way of thinking/talking then I'm sure you too will think its a must have series and very creditworthy. Narration was excellent as usual. Could be a stand-alone listen.

" Hot Property Of Picinc"

I love the narrators voice. This was a really good book and I love this series and although this book was not as good as the last one to me it was still a really good book. London has put her life on hold to raise niece as her on child. She has founded her own cleaning business and now at the age of 38 she is finally starting to get ahead. Her niece has just graduated and everything should be smooth sailing until the night she is told her niece has gone to party with the Reapers MC. London's only choice is to go to the club and find her niece. Reese "Picnic" Hayes the MC prez will be there, London will need his help to get her niece. She can't help the feelings that he evokes whenever she sees him. He is a really a hot, sexy guy that is all bad boy and he seems to be interested in her too. It was good to see Picnic interested in having sex with a women that was over 30. Reese lost his wife and has not wanted anyone since she past away until he saw London Armstrong. Even though she is involved with another man, Reese doesn't see that as a problem. London's niece Jessica was a spoiled brat who was use to her cousin always being there for her and to me London felt guilt for the things that have happened to her. This book was a little darker than the others. The sex in this book was steamy and the dirty talk was good. I did feel bad for Em and Hunter in this book they are still my favorite couple. I listened to this book on audio and I loved it this book was well written like the rest of this series and I am looking for to the next book. I am looking forward to also reading about the Silver Bastard's and Puck, because the epilogue was very good and left me with a whole lot of questions. Overall if you like hot bikers with hot sex and action you will love this series.

Another Winner in the Series

The author has yet to let me down with this series. I was very excited to hear Pic's story and the story held up to my expectations. The epilog was awesome and I can't wait to see if my guess is right.

Love this Series!

When I first met Picnic in Reaper’s Property I knew this man was a force that you would never want to tangle with but more than wanted on your side. Reese “Picnic” Hayes, President of the Reaper’ MC. How do even begin to describe this man. I thought that Horse was an ass, Rugger, a man whore and Hunter really kind crazy. Picnic has nothing on the three of them combine. Intimidating and scary as hell. A loyal brother and a true leader. Picnic eats, sleeps and breaths the MC. It’s his life. Having raised two grown daughters who keep him guessing and losing his wife to early in life give Picnic another prospective added into his MC way of life. Under the layers of sexy, make you melt, badass biker is a good hearted man, who could kill you as fast as like you.

London is either one bad ass woman or straight up bat shit crazy. At times it hard to tell which. My favorite female lead character that I have read this year! Strong, self sacrificing, hard working and ever giving. Caring for her cousins daughter with major medical needs has kept her social life on hold for many years. London doesn’t know what hit her when the hot, blue eyed devil that is Picnic pushes his way into her life. Overwhelming lust and a way of life that London doesn’t understand. In a matter of a week life is changed, flipped upside down and twisted causing London to make some rather brave, rash and ballsy choices. Choices that have consequences that leave London hanging on the edge with the rock crumbling away no matter the decision. Knowing her actions will carry retribution, she does it knowing full well what the end result could be. A remarkable woman in so many ways.

Everything Reaper, yet different from the previous books in the series. Intimidating, aggressive and carnal. Ms.Wylde not only knows how to catch a reader attention, she knows hold to keeps us holding on. Intense is too light of a word for Reaper’s Stand. I laughed, I cried,I cussed.

Euphoric rage, loyalty and family set into motion a ride that is sure to be remembered. The Reapers have a motto of “Fuck with us and we will fuck you back, harder.” Reaper’s Stand gives the fans of this series a first hand look just that. Deeds done that will drop your jaw, entwined with blinding lust that exceeds any my of expectations for this book. Reaper’s Stand pushed the line further than any of the previous book. Intense and overwhelming, everything I love about the Reapers and more. Picnic and London are both mature, having lived life and have both suffered loss. The two are given the chance to fill the thing lacking in their lives if that make it far.

I could keep going on and on trying to find the words to express how much I liked this book. If MC romance is your thing or you like a raw aggressive edge to your steamy reading, Reapers Stand is the book! Be warned this is not a sweet, romancing, lets fall in love book. It’s a balls to the wall, take what you want kind of book that will make your skin tingle. A scary ride that I want to go on again.

Not the best in the series

The narration was off in this one. Also, the constant stream of consciousness from London was way too much. Good series but this was my least favorite in it.

Excellent

I enjoyed this book so much. Everything about it was spot on for me. The performance, the story line and the overall hit 5 points! It's a long narration, but I never lost interest in it. The flow of the book moves nicely. This fourth book in the Motorcycle Club is a doorway to many other books to come along in the future, which I'm looking forward to listening.
I found this book intriguing and suspenseful in areas along with the everyday struggles we have today with children who are born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and the many obstacles they have to learn to live with along with the difficulties of women who are finding theirselves alone raising their children on their own.

One of my favorite series

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, because its a fun listen! It has emotion, drama, and raw edginess not found in my world.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Picnic because this book showed a different side to his "harsh" reality.

What does Tatiana Sokolov and Sean Crisden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Tatiana Sokolov is one of my favorite narrators and she brings a fresh approach to her characters unlike many of the other performers. I will always buy a book narrated by her.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Not your typical happy ending!

Any additional comments?

I love this series and cannot wait or the next one. I hope it never ends!

Reaper's! That's all that needs to be said! OMG!

Would you consider the audio edition of Reaper's Stand to be better than the print version?

I love the Reaper's! Audio is always better unless the narrator or the author are awful. In this case they rock.

What other book might you compare Reaper's Stand to and why?

Nothing to compare the Reaper's to so I'll just say if you like strong women and alpha male bikers then this series is one you will like.

Have you listened to any of Tatiana Sokolov and Sean Crisden ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Tatiana and Sean Rock with this book.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

What moved me the most was the mother instincts that drove the plot.

Any additional comments?

Great series. I would suggest to start at book 1 and get to know the characters.Look forward to the next books in the series. So, Audible, get a move one it and give us another book. Love me some Audible. :)

I One of the best in the business. Her men's voice is sexier than most men. She is terrific.

Any additional comments?
