This series seems to be written for a slightly older audience then previous series by PJ Ryan. As per usual for Rebekah Girl Detective, each book is about 45 minutes in length and is its own mystery. However, the episodes of this series are more interconnected than previous series. There is an overarching mystery that is slowly revealed in each book, culminating in the final story. Another reason it feels aged up is because only Rebekah and Mouse appear in these books, there is no mention of Jaden, Amanda, Max and surprisingly RJ. Despite their absence, my daughter really enjoyed these books, her favourite Rebekah series by far.

My daughter thinks Gwendolyn Druyor is great at voicing the characters.
