Enjoyable

Cute story, some funny moments. I found some spots predictable or corny, but I still enjoyed it. I was a fan of the male narrator, but the female one wasn't so favourable at times.

🌟🌟 5 Stars 🌟🌟

Oh I loved the ending to Gia & Rush's story even more than the beginning of it. They have many things to overcome and I was left with happy heart at the end of this story. The way Rush's adores Gia and her changes melted my heart and made me love him even more. It's book boyfriends like Rush that set the bar high for real life boyfriends LOL. This was a beautiful love story! Thankfully I had them both and was able to go right into book 2. One other thing, I don't really know why this is 2 books. It's one story cut in half and sold as 2 when total it was only like 14 hours on audio. That works ok with ebooks but audiobooks are expensive and having to buy 2 to get a 14 hours story is hard to swallow no matter how amazing the story is. The narration was PERFECT! Loved Sebastian York & Maxine Mitchel for this duet!!!

You have to love this Rebel!!

A great story with strong male and female leads. Fantastic conclusion to a duet audiobook. I haven't listened to a book with narrator Maxine in quite a while. I forgot how good she is with both female and male roles. Sebastian is great as a male lead, but I had trouble differentiating between the male roles. This story brought out all the emotions from happy, sad, wanting to punch someone's face in (the name starts with an E) to a very steamy romantic love story. Thank you for not rushing the ending, like a lot of the books I have read. I just wish you would have put these two stories together. Because I haven't paid this much for any authors story. I Love Penelope and Vi stories, but I will not buy another of their stories again if they continue doing this. There are equally good authors out there that I and I am sure other readers agree that they can find fantastic stories.

FORTUNATELY, UNFORTUNATELY

I read both books in the series and both were awesome. Narrators were great. Fortunately, I found a great pair of authors. Unfortunately, book 2 was the last of the series😞.

Sweet story!

Love the narrators and it's a sweet story. Penelope Ward does not disappoint in this series. As usual she makes you feel like you know the characters and brings you into the story.

Fortunately and unfortunately

As the love story continues, it also becomes more complicated. There are so many ups and downs in this story sometimes you feel like your on a rollercoaster of emotions. With the two narrator's, it gave listening to this book a more realistic feel that you are hearing each characters perspective on what is playing out. I enjoyed listening to both Rebel books.

Fortunately, unfortunately

Fortunately, this is the last book in this “Rush” series. Unfortunately, this was a little too predictable. Fortunately, jerks get paid back for their jerkish ways. Unfortunately, I wasted an afternoon listening to the resolution.

Its OK

Rush is amazing. Gia is annoying, selfish, & immature. The ending is predictable and unrealistic. Wasn't the worst story but definitely not a favorite.

Pregnant?!

Spoiler: The story hooked me from the beginning and the connection that the main characters developed. BAM she’s pregnant from a one night stand who was not the hero. Wow! This authors how to ruin good romance story. The only reason I finish this was because of the narrators. After she got pregnant, the romance went downhill. Wow!! Can I give negative rating?

The family dynamic

I give it all to Rush who is truly a man. I come from a semi close minded family and to go through the motions of Rush and Gia’s decisions. It’s hard to put yourself into there shoes. I understood both sides but leant more toward misfortune events playing out as the book went on. Wonderful execution of words and realism describing taking a “sperm donors” baby as your own. It’s humbling to know there are Rush’s and Gia’s in our world.
