Soon he will have to choose between ultimate power, or the ultimate sacrifice, before he becomes that which he has always fought against.

Interesting take on VR, but inconsistent and contradictory

The ending is horrendous and somewhat lazy. The ending is cliche and would frankly be trading one trauma for several more. It is simply one of the most annoying things I've ever read, not to mention the author's apparent need for a more interesting sex life.
