Publisher's Summary

Sam Sullivan has spent the last year of his life paralyzed. Unable to afford the state-of-the-art surgery needed to repair his spinal cord, Sam has lost all hope. But when the first fully immersive virtual-reality game goes live, Sam is given a second chance at life.

Rebirth Online offers players action, adventure, and a chance at real-world riches. If Sam can rise through the ranks and claim his kingdom, he just might be able to earn enough money to afford the surgery he so badly needs.

Sam enters Rebirth Online excited to begin his adventure, but within 15 minutes of spawning in the game, he is robbed, beaten, and left for dead.

He wakes to find himself in the care of Anna, a beautiful elf healer. Together, they discover that he has an unbelievable special ability, one that allows him to instantly level. To use it, he must grind - literally - with the girls in his guild. The only problem - a 12-hour cooldown.

As Sam's guild grows, he and Anna are joined by a beautiful human warrior, a feisty drow assassin, and a flighty female furry. But when a run-in with a high-level player named Kincaid ends with Anna's kidnapping, Sam and his girls must pull no punches to get their guildmate back.

Contains mature themes.

Pretty good

Among the more cohesive and interesting series in the genre if you can get past the ever-present misogyny that exists in every title and series.
This is a review for the series so I’ll be pasting this for books one through six if audible lets me, i won’t put any spoilers though.
In general, better than average character development, multiple characters who continue, a few unexpected twists, fewer than usual ex-machina moments, less continuity errors than expected.
My big complaint is the constant, graphic, sex scenes. Totally unnecessary to the story. Set it up that they happen, yes, and explore the morning after. Multiple times through this series a coworker stopped by my desk and thought I was listening to hardcore prawn when I took headphones off before pressing pause at an unfortunate point. When I was paying more attention I could just skip through it all, but you never know if you missed something important?
Don’t get me wrong, prawn is wonderful, just not when I don’t want it, like in the middle of a story that I’m listening to at work or possibly around my family.

Ehh spoiler warning.

Not terrible but decent story mc was alright but honestly the whole I’m the centre of a harem trope was meh would’ve been better had he exploited his power to level and just did all races n genders built that guild bigger etc but meh

Actually, pretty good for a LitRPG genre, it's a recommendation, with just enough "mature " content

Overall, very well done for this genre,... It's not over loaded with character stats, if anything there probably isn't enough for an RPG storyline. A bunch of OP for a first book in a series... The mature content is peppered nice and even, as well as not being overly smutty.

it started out well

it started out rather interesting. But with a lot of these stories sadly, we are stuck with another MC which is as intelligent as a speck of dust. 24 years old, but literally has to have everything spelled out for him. He by passes everything that could help him understand what is going on, just for it to cause problems later. (weak plot non sense). The characters just aren't interesting at all.
