I wasn’t sure what to expect. I love the character and the adventure. It moves at a good pace and keeps you listening!

This is a very well written, exciting weak to strong progression type story, the person who gave that poor review obviously didn’t give the book a chance to have the main character progress past the weak stage in a weak to strong book. It’s a great story, she goes through a lot early on, but that makes it all the sweeter when she progresses. Very very excellent narrator as well. I’ll be getting book 2 for sure.

I think it would have benefited from more revisions, as the ideas themselves are fine, but the execution...less so. As it stands, the plot is a little weak, so is the setup. Many times I had to stop listening because a moment that was about to have tension was interrupted by an unnecessarily long internal monologue, the author aught to practice writing more compelling tension/action scenes. it just felt like what could have been an OK book was weighed down by a lack of experience and skill on the authors part.

man the little blurb made it sound like she was going to stand up for her self but so far all that's happend is a 13 year old girl with a disability getting physically and emotionally tortured by her family and clan members I was really hopping she would speak up for her self or do anything but instead it's just bully garbage also after she gets un cursed and starts getting power she's so brainwashed she thinks doing the right thing then letting people punish her so the clan can save face is so dumb terrible
