Publisher's Summary

A broken man finds a woman worth living for in the new novel in #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan’s Torpedo Ink motorcycle club series.

Kir “Master” Vasiliev doesn’t care whether he lives or dies. He’s a burnt-out shell with no one and nothing but his club. Whatever Torpedo Ink needs, Master will put himself in harm’s way time after time. If he doesn’t make it back, he’s certain everyone will move on just fine.

Investment banker Ambrielle Moore knows her own mind, and she’s not willing to settle for anyone. So when a second-rate gangster and his thugs try to coerce her into marriage—and giving up all of her family’s money—she’s having none of it. Until they turn to cold-blooded murder.

Grieving and enraged, Ambrie is ready to go scorched earth on her captors when Master shows up anticipating a damsel in distress. But Ambrie is nothing like he expected, and everything he never knew he desired...

🌻Not quite as intense, as previous books🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas 🌻🌻🌻🌻

I would have to admit that certain elements, of this series, have been difficult to imagine. The MC club that this series has been centered around has dealt with the ugliest elements of society.

First, all the members have suffered extreme physical, mental and sexual torture. They all have been permanently changed both physically and mentally. Although the stories have been horrific, this group of characters were survivors who had dedicated their lives to helping other victims escape similar fates. Granted, their vigilante justice has totally disregarded the law

I have enjoyed the humorous dialogues and the character’s’ journeys to their HEAs.

A listener will need thick skin and an open mind, but if they do, this series will be devour worthy. Thank you Ms Feehan, I will be eagerly awaiting the next release!

Great read

I love this book! The love and respect between Master and Embry is there right from the start. I especially love the song for Jackson. Red Hot Jackson! ❤️

slow, but oh so good

I think this is the best of the Torpedo Ink series thus far. I say that because of the relationship between the main characters, Master and Ambrielle. There was no hiding of secrets or withholding of information. Everything with these two was up front and spelled out. Ambrielle was no shrinking dove but a little spitfire ass kicker, perfect for Master and exactly what he needed in his life at this point. The story read a little slow and there was no wild kinky sex scenes. It was a straight up story about two people meant for each other and how circumstances melded them together rather than push them apart. We get to see another side to Czar and Blythe, plus we learn more of what happened in the schools. To me, this was a really good book that actually concentrated on the story . I have to say this will be my favorite of the series unless another TI member comes along with a more compelling story to tell.

Not the best.

Also not the worst. A bit soft and I miss Jim Frangeone. Don’t get me wrong I like Ryan West but I Love Jim.

Best so far

I liked this book the best, I was glad the sex was toned down, I like the story better there wasn’t as much repeating of what the reader has been told in previous stories and the new narration wasn’t bad.

Excellent story

Filled with intrigue, action, hot sex, emotions, an understanding that things aren’t always what they seem. Loved Master & Ambrie’s story and that she could take care of herself. Perfect with the sexy voice of Ryan West narrating making it a great book. My only complaint is that the people that review her book before publication didn’t catch the error of number of kids in the school to start with. It’s always been 287, hence, the number used it their business names like Crow287. Thought it was an accident when the number mentioned was 289 but it happened again.

I liked this one

I really appreciated the fact that she focused more on the story and not as much the sex.
