This book held my attention from beginning to end. It'd didn't linger or drag in any area. It has the right blend of romance, spice and angst so it flows well and is entertaining. The bit of grit and suspense makes the story more intriguing. The character development & emotional layering is effective and had me invested in these characters from beginning to end. The narration upheld the character development, emotional layering and tone of the book. I only wish the author had more stories of this type.
