Publisher's Summary
Addison Elise "Reign" is suffering from a midlife crisis, and she's barely in her twenties. She once had her whole life planned out...that was until she came to college. Reign quickly found herself on the dark side of the college experience that no one ever talks about. She has had to navigate through "situationships" and her greatest invisible war: depression with an unsupportive family. Now in her junior year, Reign tries to pick up the pieces and find her place in the world. Along the way, she must conquer new battles and enemies...even if the greatest enemy is: herself.

Powerful storyline holding nothing back
The storyline was amazing. Digging deeper into the depression is something we should all do.

Emotional!
This was my first Brittany Marie Baker. Reigny Days is the first book in the Reign Novellas Series, a YA fiction. The story is very emotional, and has some triggers: depression and suicide. Mental health isn't an easy subject to write about, and even more to read about. Reign is a beautiful young character, who suffering from a major depressive disorder. The storyline has drama, difficult relationships, unsupportive parents, and a dysfunctional family. The story ends with a cliffhanger, to be continued in the next book, Reign on Me. Honestly, I wonder why the author decided to split this story in short novellas, rather than one novel. Lacy Laurel does a great job with the narration.
