Publisher's Summary
American homeowners know virtually nothing about how to properly remodel, despite spending over $300 billion per year doing it! Well, that changes today!
With this groundbreaking audiobook, lifelong industry expert Jim Molinelli helps every homeowner master their own remodeling process. From the proper mindset, through preparing a Project Packet, identifying the right design, and remodeling professionals to use, and then how to interview and negotiate with the perfect remodeler for your project - listeners will learn it all.
Molinelli, a licensed residential architect and 24-year veteran remodeler, shares his proven step by step method that helps families avoid the three critical mistakes that bring "horror-story" results, and instead, achieve remodeling success!
The audiobook is very light and conversational. Even with a fairly detailed subject matter, the presentation is actually fun and enjoyable. So take a seat and enjoy yourself, as you learn how you can Remodel Without Going Bonkers or Broke!

Great audiobook!
I wouldn't expect that a book about remodel would make a good audiobook, but this one does! I am currently going through a remodel and this book is a great wealth of information. It can easily save you bunch of money and help you understand how to put your ducks in a row before you start the remodel or even in you are already in the process. Side note, I found this audiobook being extremely motivating to listen to while cleaning up the house.

Title should be How to plan to remodel
This book should be called how to plan organize to hire others to remodel your home. If you have plenty of money and are too clueless to know how to research into remodeling, this book is for you. I thought maybe after the first 5 chapters of dedications were over the book would get down to business on remodeling steps, I was wrong. If you want to know the differences in architects, licensed builders, designers, and the like, or why you should remodel instead of move (don't we all know moving is a pain?) give this a listen. If not don't waste your time and money,

Worth every penny
This book was detailed and had specific instructions on how to go about remodeling your home with a hired remodeler. The book was well organized and easy to follow, and included detailed explanations of why each of the steps outlined where necessary. It included insider tips on how to figure out the likely cost of your remodel, and how to figure out what parts of your remodel you can get away with doing yourself while still having the professional do the essentials.
