The story was okay, I guess. I think I would’ve liked the book better if I didn’t have such a hard time hearing what was being said. I understand the need to set the scene and such but the whispering drove me mad. Constantly having to adjust the volume and going back to try to hear what was being said made this book tedious and hard to get through.

I enjoyed this book, but ice queen dom is 100% the MC and not what I'm into. If it is what you're into, I'm going to guesd you'd rate it at least as high. I felt this was the least believable Lee Winters book I have listened to so far. However, that still makes it pretty good as romances go and I'll admit it was decently well pulled off for how unlikely the premise was. It's not my primary genre by a long shot but sometimes I just need a little f/f desire/love.

The narrator is solid. If you have trouble with her at first but not to the point of hating her reading (this is where I was at) I suggest giving her a chance anyways. Her acting is good from putting emotions into her work, to doing a few accents well, and to doing enough distinct voices to help make who was talking clear. It was just little things that prevented a 5/5 rating for performance for me. I'm a bit hard to please.

Perfect story and narration. I just had to speed up the voice a bit which is nothing.This is the first good review I've written out of 130 audio books so far. I only felt the need to write bad reviews for a hand full of books as a warning to fellow readers until now so that says something. For books I like until now just got a rating because I'm just lazy lol. This story blew me away and I just couldn't resist. There wasn't one dull moment when I got board and wanted to speed up more to get through certain parts which I usually do in most books. Definitely worth the credit or 2 really.

This book is something else! Natalia is the ultimate ice queen! I found the storyline to be absolutely enthralling, even if it was a painfully slow burn (but it was good pain, I promise)!! Excellent, deep writing from Winter, as always, with intriguing and well-developed characters.

Great narration! I felt like the narrator really fit the characters and tone of the book perfectly. The true seal of approval from me was that I listened to it in 1.0x and never felt it dragged (and also never wanted it to end)!

I highly recommend giving this one a listen!
