The opening of the story involves a anti-LGBQ theme of the nightclub actually becoming the scene of a hate crime . The story develops as Thane ,the firefighter, deals with his undisclosed sexuality after meeting and engaging with a sexy sassy Madden. However the closely following Traumatic event that affects them both leaves them unsure of themselves individually let alone as a starting point for a future relationship. They have chemistry off the charts and K M Neuhold leaves you believing in love, overcoming the struggles and fears the characters experience.
