Publisher's Summary

Graham "Hollywood" Caverly feels the chemistry with Kassie Anderson in the emails they've been exchanging through a dating site. When they finally meet in person, and that online chemistry proves to have real-life sizzle, he knows she's the one. He couldn't be happier when their first date, at an annual Army Ball, goes better than he could have imagined. Until Kassie drops a bomb.

Kassie doesn't want to approach Hollywood on the dating site, but threats to her family leave her no other choice. She definitely doesn't want to fall for the man. But fall she does. Hard. After she admits the ruse - and after some understandable anger on both their parts - Kassie wonders if, in Hollywood's arms, a happy future is within her grasp.

But her past always finds her, and in Kassie's case, that's a dangerous proposition - because she's connected to an old enemy of Hollywood's Delta Force team. Very intimately connected...and it will take Hollywood, his Delta brothers, and even some outside help to do what should have been done the first time - eliminate the threat once and for all.

Rescuing Kassie is the fifth book in the Delta Force Heroes Series. Each book is a stand-alone, with no cliffhanger endings.

Another Winner!!

Susan has another winner on her hands!

I like Hollywood, always have. He's a big beautiful man with a heart of gold. We got to see that in Rescuing Emily, when he was faced with little Annie.

I wasn't so sure about Kassie at first but thankfully she showed she was on in this because she had to be. She didn't want to cause Hollywood or his friends any harm. Her ex however was wanting just that. The way the story is told and unfolds Kees you on the edge of your seat. What's going to happen next?

There were many WTF moments for me, which was good. I laughed, and a time or two I was a little ticked at the situations Kassie put herself in, al in the name of protecting someone else. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do I guess.

I really can't wait to see more of Kass and Hollywood in the future books!

S&S Never Fails!

Kassies story is one of my favorites, and of course beautifully narrated by Stella. The story is great from start to finish, and while it could be read individually I’d suggest you go back and get the rest in the series, can’t rave about this audio book enough!

It was good, but I wanted more.

It took me a while to get this book. I hated that Hollywood was going to be used and didn’t want to hear it yet. Well, I wasted time there. I’m happy to say that the issue was resolved early on, but then I was trying to figure out where the story was going to go afterwards.

The antagonist was shorty at best. His reasoning was as stupid as the execution. Hollywood and Kassie are great together and watching their relationship grow was nice, but how Hollywood and the gang miss the big issue staring them in the face was beyond me.

The story was sweet and the narration was on point, but it was low on heat, and actual sex didn’t occur until the end.

Recommended

It took me awhile to get around to listening to this story. I knew it involved Hollywood and that it was about a girl using him to get to the team. I hate people using people especially when it involves the heart. I was sure it would work out but still. I was right. And I was wrong. Then I was right again. She does use him. The story was excellent. And it works out. It is a formula that works as I see it over & over as the HEA is important to me.

Stella Bloom did another excellent job but I will admit it would probably be a good idea for Ms. Stoker to change up narrators as everyone sounds like everyone else. It is a good thing the story indicates indicates who is talking so well.
