Publisher's Summary

All bets are off in this third and final audiobook in the epic New York Times best-selling Lorien Legacies Reborn series! This fast-paced, action-packed adventure - which is set in the world of I Am Number Four - is perfect for fans of the Darkest Minds series and the X-Men franchise.

After the battle in Switzerland, the Fugitive Six find their allegiances torn, dividing them into two factions. Taylor, Kopano, and Nigel return to the Academy with Nine, but nothing is the same. As fear and resentment of the Human Garde continues to grow, the United Nations decrees that all humans with Legacies must be implanted with inhibitors. So our heroes will have no choice but to rebel.

With the Foundation still at large, Isabela, Caleb, and Ran have decided to join forces with their former foes Einar and Five to hunt them down. But when a new threat is revealed, the group may find itself painfully outmatched. Facing capture or annihilation from all sides, the only hope the Human Garde has for survival is to stand together once and for all to fight back against its true enemies.

Return to Zero is the epic conclusion to the story of the Garde that began with the worldwide phenomenon I Am Number Four.

Good, but could have done more

I actually really liked the 'bad guy' in this one. They did a good job of making him seem terrifying. But at the end it felt a little hollow. Like not that much 'really' happened.

Overall good though.

dissappointing

this series in my opinion has been a big disappointment compared to i am number four.
I feel like the author ruined some of his best characters just to try to create a decent story. As well as he has become repetitive with his plot lines when comparing this series to i am number four. John was screwed over by the script the author had given him.
however I liked the narrator for these books for the most part.

a wonderful addition to the collection

this is a wonderful addition to the collection although it starts off a little bit slow and has some hearts to drag. learning the intricate details about certain of the members of the guard really help the understand story a lot better.

More please!!!!

I have highly enjoyed these audible books. It helps with the long drive to work every day and back home. If there’s a way please continue writing these storylines. I have almost all the books from audible. The ones I do not have is the private stories about each of the Lorien
kids

Sad to see it go

This whole series has been my favorite since I was in junior high. The story, the relationships have always captured emotion for me. I’m so glad I got to experience this entire series from start to end, I am very sad to see it end but so glad to experience it!

probably my least favorite...

it took a while for this series to move. I love lorien legacies but this was a little anticlimactic. the characters felt underdeveloped

The reader is not the person who should have read this book.

Man as I stated in the last review this guy was not the reader for this book. After all the other books being read by a talented reader and expert voice changer! This guy, 99% of the people sound exactly the same and the only voice he does good is the Norwegian or Sweden guy! super lame!

Pittacus Lore cash machine

All action, no character development. For that, you need to purchase the side novelas. They release 1 every 4 months or so and it takes the publisher 1 year to release the next volume. It's the same strategy they used with the #4 Series. I could tolerate this 10 years ago as I was hooked to the series. All they are doing now is using the same formula to squeeze out a few extra $. To make it worse, they don't number these side stories. This will make you furious when trying to find the next book in the sequence.

To everyone involved in creating this series, come to your senses. Stop breaking down what should be 1 whole book into 4 parts. Evolve these novels to fit your maturing audience or simply stop publishing more books. This will likely be the last book I purchase in this series, as I refuse to take the bait and purchase the side novelas.

Further, either the book has typos or PJ made obvious mistakes while narrating the story. I remember the #4 series having a few typos, so the problem is likely with the editor...

EDITED

...Ohhhhh wait. That was the final book? Impossible? What a waste.... Betting against Mike Tyson in fight would be less disappointing. Publisher must have pulled the plug...
