good story

the story was interesting and the romance was nice. I had a very hard time with the narration. The narrator was very stiff. The intimate scenes were stilted and jaring. Which took away from the feelings of love and friendship as well as the feelings of fear and anger that the book was trying to portray. It was very distracting.
