Warner’s life had changed when his daughter had been nearly fatally injured, plunging Warner into a world of paranormal creatures, monsters, and magic that he’d never known existed. Story
Warner spent his days like no one else. He got up, went to work, forced people to balance their scales - either through taking lives or forced penance - went home, spent time with his daughter, slept with one of his girlfriends, and went to sleep. Only to repeat the pattern over and over and over. Life was the furthest thing from mundane that it could ever be.

Story
Steve doesn’t care who he was. He knows more than enough to realize it doesn’t matter at all. Now living in what had once been the Creeplands and maintaining a thriving farm there, they are under constant siege from the Creep itself. It's still better than life in Lamals. And that’s just how it is. After taking over the Citadel, removing Lynn from her place of power, stopping the Creep’s advance, and starting to take over part of the Creeplands, he was certainly making a difference for himself, humans, and men everywhere.

Sameerixis, or Sam for those who actually know him, isn’t what you’d call normal. He had been a door-to-door salesman of sorts. One who peddled wares, wishes, and whims to anyone willing to pay his prices. Except that life is gone now. His old business model had been modernized. Email, phone contacts, letters, flyers, business cards, and scheduled consultations. Sam was a man trapped in place by his own success. And loving it.

Story
An existence spent being forced to kill others to satiate a monster. Where the only thing to look forward to was the blessed, if brief, period of time between paying that bribe. Except that very same monster is and isn’t Rene. It just happened to live inside his own mind and force him to do what it wanted - rather than him being an actual monster. That was Rene’s entire life until a fateful day changed that. A day that his career as a hitman for hire built on the monster’s needs will end. Where Rene will be forced to atone for his actions. To be held accountable and judged.

Ryker only has one goal in his life right now: Turn a certain adventuring guild into a flaming wreck while dancing merrily through the smoldering ruins. All for the chance to get back at a handful of people. It isn’t as if they didn’t deserve it either. They had driven him from his home. Chased him physically from the very guild house itself. Simply because he wasn’t as strong as they expected him to be. As strong as he’d expected himself to be. He’d returned the next day and left with something he’d hidden away and told no one about when he found it in one of his few Dungeon Dives.

Sebastian Frost’s most recent memory was waking up in a field naked, in a body that wasn’t his own, in a world that definitely wasn’t his own, and three stunning pointy-eared women staring right at him. He also remembered hair as white as starlight, eyes like amethysts, and the name Shalia. Fortunately, it was the right name to know. Shalia was the elves’ goddess, and that made him her herald.

Story
Reports to write, forms to fill, coffee to drink, leads to run down, organized crime syndicates to break. Gus’ life had been a tedium. That was before Melody, a contractor, more or less blew his life up as if it were a building packed full of C-4. Then helped him make a new life, which he himself ended blowing up. A cushy new job with the FED, thrown out the window with a single gunshot. All based on an assumption of who was working for who, and that he’d been on the wrong side of the equation.

All for the chance to get back at a handful of people. It didn’t work out that way though. At all. He’d become the Count of Dungeon, made a hostage, married off to the false queen’s daughter against his will, and had his county made ground zero for a religious war. To top all that off, the Dark Lord of the North wants to see Ryker personally.

Publisher's Summary
Warner spent his days like almost anyone else.
He got up, went to work, answered phone calls in a call center, went home, spent time with his daughter, and went to sleep.
Only to repeat the pattern over and over and over.
Life was as mundane as anyone could ever fear it to be.
Today was the day that all that would change.
On this day, his daughter Maya would be nearly fatally injured, plunging Warner into a world of paranormal creatures, monsters, and magic he’d never known existed.
The only consolation is that he discovers he’s not quite human, either.
Nor is he very happy with the way of the world or how it spun. Built on corruption, lies, and injustice for all.
An unlikely answer comes to him that fits his wounded heart.
Justice handed out by him personally. Vengeance and retribution in equal measure to all that deserve it.
Using his newfound powers and unbending determination, Warner is going to carve a path through the world that’ll send the darkest corners of existence fleeing before him. Even as he crushes them beneath his furious strikes.
The very world will tremble with his actions and fear his coming.
Warning and minor spoiler: This novel contains graphic violence, undefined relationships/harem, unconventional opinions/beliefs, and a hero who is as tactful as a dog at a cat show. Listen at your own risk.

Is Arand getting lazier?
I listen to almost all of these bucks I invested in seeing how the universe progresses But it seems that the writing is becoming lazier and more stream-of-consciousness. William D Arand needs an editor.

Another fantastic addition to the Sovereign-Verse
I love the shared universe that these books are apart of and the shared events/characters that we catch glimpses of. The characters are flawed but remain likeable. It was nice to see the hidden world from an outside perspective. If you have enjoyed William's other works that you will want to add this to your collection. I for one am hungry for more.
Andrea Parsneau has once again brought the characters to to life with her phenomenal performance and vast array of different voices. Her skills brings any project to a entirely different level, I have now purchased several works just due to the fact that she was apart of it.

Fantastic!
This book was so good! All the elements of a harem story without the graphic sex. And the best part is that he writes a story catering to that genre that still has an amazing story line. The narrator is amazing as always of course! I truly enjoyed every minute of this book and I can’t wait for the next one!

Stop reading this review and BUY THE BOOK!
Still reading? fine, pay attention then.
I recommend getting "Swing Shift" first if you want to understand a lot of the background happening of this world, so far the book is self-contained but I doubt it will stay that way. This book, however is absolutely FIRE! I loved every second of it. Pacing, story, narrator, action, comedy, side characters. it all comes together in a wonderful package that makes me want to look into the future to get the next one.
If you want to listen to a book that has a really smart and realistic MC, beautiful and smart female leads, (that absolutely steal the show) and a story that connects across other books. Get this one. you won't regret it!

Author doesn't understand a simple concept
shall not be infringed means shall not be infringed.
ALL gun regulations are a violation of the 2nd amendment. There is no authority within the federal government to infringe on gun rights at all.
The gun runner is not a criminalfor running guns and this book is being returned ASAP.
The narrator is good though

generic 13 year old fan fiction
the writing in this book is horrible, the main characters actions don't make sense when his whole thing is providing justice but will step on anyone trying to get justice for them selfs, he also almost immediately starts cheating on his first gf right after his daughter said she wants him to only see 1 person because of the chaos her mom put her through seeing lots of guys voice actor is good, if you follow her other work she uses a lot of the same voices from other books.
