Rule one: Hockey comes first.

I’ve had this series on my wishlist FOREVER and snagged this during the sitewide mega sale from audible this weekend and immediately listened to it and FELL IN LOVE WITH IT IMMEDIATELY. Zane and Ryan are SO frickin cute and I really like friends to lovers, I think the stories are so sofmt and comforting and this one is SOOOO sweet and fluffy and the seduction is SOOOOOOO precious. Zane is the uptight captain who needs extra love and Ryan is the loyal golden retriever assistant captain who’d do anything to butter him up and make him smile. They have permanent husband vibes even before they’re boyfriends and I LOVE it. It’s such a good set up novel for the series and James Edward Jones does an amazing job narrating. I literally cannot wait to devour the rest of the series. (I’ve already consumed both of her other hockey series and they’re 🙌👌👌👌)
