Publisher's Summary

Tyke Douglas is tired of being the glue that holds the hottest band in the world together. If the rest of the guys are out doing their own thing, then why shouldn't he? He's about to turn things up a notch and bring a whole new level of crazy into Black Falcon's world.

Francine Mead is putting her sordid past behind her. The first step in her new life is taking a job as an addiction counselor, where she can mentor others through their struggles. Francine never expected to be lured back into temptation when her first sexy celebrity client, Tyke Douglas, walks through her door. Both Tyke and Francine know that a relationship between them would be a disaster, but with each session, things continue to heat up, making it impossible to deny the connection they share. Boundaries cross, attractions heighten, and their willpower will be tested to the very limit.

SORRY.... BUT IT SADLY DIDN'T ROCK ME

Tyke was spinning out of control - drink, drugs, women and a bad attitude - something had to be done about it because he'd reached rock bottom and the choice of Rehab or get kicked out of the Band he loved so much were the only options. He chose Rehab and that's where he met the beautiful Francine who was his Therapist/Doctor but she too had been an addict and her addiction was sex and when handsome, sexy and tattooed Tyke walked in she knew she was going to have to fight hard against relapsing.

But their connection was too strong for either of them to deny as the chemistry and soul connection drew them into stolen kisses and rushed sex. However, Patient/Doctor relationships were forbidden so they eventually settled for longing looks, secret meetings and an outward appearance of indifference towards each other. Eventually a blackmailer, jealousy and a shocking surprise brought everything out in the open.

I try to see the positives in books and don't like to give a bad review (because I sure couldn't begin to write a book) but I must say how I felt and somehow I just couldn't click with the characters or the storyline of their very quick romance. It did have a little bit of angst, some romance and a couple of sex scenes before it all got tied up neatly along with the conclusion of the other Band Member's stories. There was no real depth to the story which seemed lacking in energy, I didn't feel any passion between them, Tyke's rehab was just glossed over and Francine's character was weak. Dual POV's and good narrators however even they couldn't save this listen.

Worth a credit? IMO, no I was expecting so much more.... it was just a light, fluffy and superficial listen but maybe a sale purchase.

Too tied up in the end

I enjoyed this book until about the midway point. It became really clear that this one would be all tied up in the end. I'm all for the HEA but leave some room for the imagination. If you don't do that then at least give it an adult ending. For a book that tackled a real issue the ending made it seem very juvenile.

This ones going back.
