Publisher's Summary

A debt is owed...and time is running out!

Ayrion’s tribe has until the Harvest Moon to meet the Guild’s price. If the payment isn’t made, Hurricane’s territory will be seized, and its members left to starve.

The stakes have never been higher.

Once again, Ayrion finds himself in the precarious position of taking on the role of savior. Only this time, it’s not just his life that hangs in the balance, but the lives of all the children he protects.

Desperation can lead people to attempt the impossible, but Ayrion has truly tipped the scales on this one.

Really interesting book

I really enjoyed the first 2 books, and this one is just as good if not even better.
Those kids are really endearing, the story is consistent all along the way, and the end is just perfect.
Again a fantastic performance from Tim Gerard Reynolds, he's a way to interpret young kids that is always authentic.
A must-read, or listen.

Great ending, but

I really enjoyed the first two books with an awesome 12 year old and his abilities, but this book was a downer for me!

Except for the ending, the rest of the story was one disaster after another, and the lead character was on the losing side!

I like my lead characters to be ahead of the bad guys! The author disappointed me in the development of what could have been a great story, my opinion!

Good well rounded series

These books are more character driven than magic driven - which I find far more entertaining. The geographical, social and political aspects are well developed. The street rat “niches” are particularly interesting and believable. As ALWAYS, Tim Gerard Reynolds cannot be beat as a narrator. He is a master of his craft.

Great Third Book!

The third book picks up right after the second "huricane" and goes on to introduce the royal family in to the Aryon's life. I enjoyed this book much better then the Plague of Shadows. Yeat another flawless performance by Tim Gerard Reynolds.

Find the Rover?

A lot of events took place in this book but not a lot of forward movement until near the end. The main focus was on Ayrion's exploits with the guilds that would fall under what I felt was character building, Even so, the encounters and interactions were well written and made all the more interesting with Tim Gerard Reynolds' splendid performance skills.

I love it but i feel it does backwords.

I love the street of rats of aramoor. And i recommend you get it! But the only thing that really throw me off was the main char goes backwords in power level. To explain the first book he was a freaking beast! Betting people that are hella strong that everyone fears. But this book he is scared, he doesn't kill, and most of all he doesn't solo groups or really powerful people. This is more of a diplomatic way of doing things. Of course there is one part he is a beast but still. I still love the book and cant wait for next book! Thanks for reading my review

again a very good read

Continues the series as a very good read with some unexpected twists. I dare say it was better then the first 2 by a bit.

As always the Tim Gerard Reynolds the narrator was as good as ever.
