Actually was liking the story but the male narrator completely ruined it for me… read like he was reading a manual with no breathes between dialogues… his female voice was very cringeworthy.. had to stop listening

Unfortunately I found that the male narrator didn’t really perform the characters as written, his portrayal of the female character almost felt cartoonish.

the narrators cadence and voices do not suite the characters. also the story line is slow and I am continually waiting for it to get somewhere. I don't understand the 5 star ratings. not sure I'll finish this book.
