This is my second book from this author (under Taylor Rose) and so far, both books have explored sinfully questioning Catholicism. (This is not me judging the subject matter, btw. I am not saying that questioning the religion is sinful but rather the way the characters go about it.) I enjoyed this book but the ending was somewhat abrupt. I'm definitely going to read the second part of this duet because I'm excited to see Cain hunt her down, hihi. Overall, this was good and it definitely left me wanting more of their dynamic.
