The story itself was fun and interesting, most of the character were well written, the voice actor was amazing and made it easy to comprehend who was speaking without having their names said aloud. My 1 problem I had with the first 2 books was Lyn' sexual tendencies, being the town bicycle so she could "have control over 1 part of her life", but ended up ruling and entire world and just became the empires bicycle instead. how it seemed that actual romance and family were almost non existent, and everyone was just sleeping together like every other chapter was part of a swingers party or a group sex scene. It felt like it dismissed the fact that she was an empress, or a diety like alot of her people saw her as, as they are supposed to be seen as divine, sacred, and powerful, but she slept with so many people it got ridiculous and annoying to hear.

Without the amazing voice actor, I'd give it a 2.5 star
