The year is 2076, and mankind has perfected VR technology using the Chip, an implant that interfaces directly with the human brain, using it like an organic computer. Age of Anarchy Online (AAO) is the newest game released by Icestorm, makers of the legendary World of Destiny (WoD).

Unlike VR games before it, AAO promises a 110 percent “Better Than Life” realism experience, and to showcase this, Icestorm announces that AAO will have no “Out of Character” rules, save for actions like hacking or exploiting system errors. Players can do anything to NPCs and even other players, and there will be no consequences save what one may suffer in game. "Do what thou wilt, but it may be done to you in turn".

Mike Greene, better known in WoD as Torgan, a max level Paladin and leader of the lords of light, one of the top “light side” guilds in WoD, now sets off on a new adventure in AAO.

This book will take several minutes describing every single item and its stats that the protagonist finds.

While you could skim over these with a physical book, here you have to sit through it whenever they’re done fighting, shopping, completed a quest, or reading enemy stat blocks.

Also as the other reviews might have indicated, the protagonist is a dangerous predator who is not only sadistic, but also cooks and eats several people alive. (Seriously, you might want to research this book before listening, its ALL trigger warnings)

the performer tries to do his best. but the story is sooo boring with all the skill sheet and specs in between. I got to chapter 20 and gave up. The main character isn't even evil he's just perverted. sorry for the bad review.

If you want to read about a MC who is a rapist this is the book for you. The Narrator is horrible and sounds like he's bored.. The MC is just a nasty gamer who can't get girls in real life so he rapes and abuses them in the "game" .Literally every girl he meets he rapes and likes to hurt and humiliate. it's the most nasty book i have ever listened to. who ever wrote this book has a sick mind.

start of the book the author talks about how this book is beyond pettie evil as it is boring and cant last vary long. Yet within the first few minutes of the book the main character is raping multiple NPC's and eating people.

There is many other huge issues with this book, including the narrator and his never ending mouth breathing.
