As events unfold, Mike is forced to face the dangerous consequences of his past actions, and decide whether to once again take up the badge and the burdens that come with it.

Together, he and his allies work to stop the attacks, and discover who is behind them. But the enemy always seems to be one step ahead, and has some rather unique allies of its own.

The story is awesome. But I already knew that as I had bought and read the book a long while ago. The narration and performance was exceptional. which was way better then my original experience when I read the book myself. and I just love the concept of a magical police department that literally sounds like a normal guy not doing a super hero story. It is definitely a urban fantasy story with a police procedural twist. This story belongs in everyone's Listening Library.
