Had a hard time with female narrator
Female narrator did not suit this book. She didn't sound like the intended character and the recording of her voice sounded... moist.. sometimes. This book seemed like "a pilot" book. The story was lacking too. Charlotte is a smart nurse but so naive it made me shake my head. The male narrator was Very good! Though he seemed a bit young for the position he was in for the Club. Both characters matured a lot by the second book.

Canadian!
Okay, I was super excited about the Canadian setting, especially 3 cities that I've lived in! Then there were no little details, like not even an inkling of WHERE this story was set. This could have been set in any generic town. :( I'll keep listening and hope the next book gives me something lol!

Worth the read.
wow.. this one kept me on edge for sure. I liked enjoyed it! Loved most of the characters. Good narration!! Excited to read the rest of the series.

Easy listening
I think everyone has listened to their fair share of m/c books. Ryker is a pretty good one. Charlotte is on the run with her sister from an m/c and she swears she will never get mixed up with another club. Except that is just what happens. She lands the VP who is taken by her but just can't bring himself to admit it.
There is action and some suspense, Geri Glenn wrote a pretty good book. There just wasn't anything new about it. I do have to give credit for the length because for this type of drama, it was the perfect length. It didn't drag or drone on. I am excited to listen to Charlie's sisters story. I think there might be more meat there since she is a trouble maker.
Pippa Jayne was good. Her voice didn't make me want to keep listening or shut it off. There were a few times that she seemed a touch disingenuous. For that, I can't rate highly. Roger Wayne was the shining star of the book. His rough and gruff voice was meant for an m/c character.

love me some MC love
New author and new voices, I am glad I took a chance, I really enjoyed listening to this story. Tough alpha biker falls hard for the nurse and was fun following his struggle to stay away, silly man LOL Stryker is my new book boyfriend.
Charlie is so strong and kind-hearted, I can't believe she forgave her sister after what she has done, I could have slapped her sister for putting her in danger like that. The chemistry between Charlie and Ryker is off the chart and the build-up is very intense. As the story evolves we find out of their background, the hardships and you cannot help but fall in love a little more. They both deserved the HEA.
Looking forward to book 2.
Ms. Jayne and Mr. Wayne's voices are perfect for the story, they captivated my attention and was so engrossed in the story I could not stay away for long. The warmth heard in the voice Ms. Jayne gave Charlie was perfect for her temperament. And Ryker's voice... I AM IN LOVE!!! I will definitely check out their other narrations.

One of the worst female narrators...
I couldn't even get through the first chapter because the female narrator is AWFUL!! I think I'll just try reading the series instead.

Awesome book to listen to.
Would you consider the audio edition of Ryker to be better than the print version?
I love both but what I love most on listening to Audio s that you can carry on with life while listening to an Awesome Read ....
What was one of the most memorable moments of Ryker?
Loved the whole book but right after Ryker got to Charlie after she had been taken .....
What does Pippa Jayne and Roger Wayne bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
There take on how the Charators come to life , how they see them as a voice .
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Just after Ryker slept with Charlie then he pushed her away to protect her ... Always nice but so sad ...

A new author!
This is my first book by this author and I know I'll be listening to more. I like the story, the way the author tells it. I also enjoyed the narration.

Nurse and biker!
This story about a hospice nurse who has had a very bad experience (thanks to her slutty sister) with a biker gang. They moved to get away from that gang, and when she's at work she has a new patient who's dying from cancer and happens to be from a different biker club. Scared and intimidated, she finally warms up to one of the bikers who is always visiting his club brother. Cue the bad guy coming to town and he goes Alpha on her to protect her, only who will protect her heart. Well done narration.

It was just okay
I kept trying to give this story a chance, but it didn't quite make it to 5 star rating. I felt that the lead female character was weak and whiny. There was just something missing from the story. Not my fav for sure....😤

Loved this book!
This was a 5 Star book for me. The chemistry between the characters was off the charts hot. The storyline drew me from the beginning. This is my first book by Geri Glenn and I can't wait to get my hands in the rest of this series.
