Publisher's Summary

A Navy SEAL. A vigilante warrior. A bizarre alliance with lasting consequences.

Mal has been fighting terrorism and fascism in Europe since he was a child. It’s a rough life, but he believes in his cause. He saves people every day from terror attacks and worse.

When he first encounters SEAL Team Twelve, they’re an inconvenience - albeit a very attractive one. The next time he encounters them, they’re in the same place, looking for the same crew. When Mal and his sister intervene to save the SEALs’ lives, he’s thrown into a mission from which there is no turning back.

Trent’s an alpha navy man, from a long line of navy men. Being a SEAL, though, is a new honor in the Kelly family. Trent feels the honor keenly, and he’s proud to serve on the only all-alpha platoon. He’s attracted to omega Mal when they meet, but he tries to keep his passions to himself - until they just can’t keep their hands off one another anymore.

Mal and Trent’s superiors forge an uneasy alliance, throwing them back together, for better or for worse. Just when Mal turns out to be pregnant, the SEALs are yanked home by internal politics.

Will Mal and Trent’s attempt to start a family together be doomed before it begins, or will they find a way back to each other? And what about the terrorist conspiracy they were supposed to be fighting?

A hot mpreg with Navy Seals🔥

This was an enjoyable listen!
Hunky Navy SEALS finding their omega soulmates and overcoming the trials and tribulations in their life to be with the one they love.
This was a sweet and hot listen.
I liked that this one had mpreg.
Austin Jay did a commendable job on the narration as well.

A very socialist democrat book

Hi this book was a real socialist view of the USA. It finds the Muslim world to be loving and the US a monster . And you will need to drink a cocktail in a basement if you hear it all the way through, I had gotten this book for a trip and once ether ,,

...as long as you are the targeted audience...

... audience definition meaning okay with "omega" misogyny major sexism the old fashioned All American Way. as long as you disregard the traditional idiotic sexist ideals it's a pretty good story. I believe we need a new trigger warning due to the level of sexism and misogyny in this series, but again my assumption is the author is directing it to a certain type of individual in order to sell his work.

Following the story felt like a chore than an escape!

It’s such a waste of a credit!! I like the premise of mpreg but as the books progress, the story becomes redundant and the main characters’ conflict in the story lines does not compliment the way they were introduced in the beginning. Some even tend to become confusing and the human problems that were brought up are lackluster and needed more elaboration to get a bit of closure. The author uses these human problems shallowly and it feels like she rushed it just to finish the story lines leaving several plot holes. And for a romance novel, it just goes into some convoluted political tirade that are poorly researched than showing the growth of the characters’ relationships. Not unless the author is a political science expert or even served in the military, it’s just insulting for both of those who are.

Narration is everything

When played at regular speed, the pauses and delivery are so slow the story is completely lost. It was so slow I had to speed it up to 1.7x just to get the right pace. Even with the narration sped up, I still couldn’t focus on the story because the narration was so poorly delivered . The accents were horrible and the voice just didn’t fit. I feel like I would enjoy reading this story or listening if the narration was better.

Disappointed

Too much unnecessary content. And the last book's relationship progression was so unrealistic it pissed me off. Going from despising the person to suddenly wanting to have sex with them WITHOUT batting an eyelash at that response when it's out character for that person is just too much. What's more, every single book was basically the same. Oops. Pregnant. Got to make this work somehow, right? WTH. Not loving this at all.

Anti-American propaganda

Very disappointed with this series. I didn’t make it through the first book, so if it changes I apologize. But the subject matter is set to make America responsible for terrorism and to discredit our brave men and women who have served to make and maintain this great nation. I have another series by Aiden Bates and enjoyed it. Just right good fiction romance and leave politics out of it.

So boring!!!

Very political! Not steamy or romantic. Story development is not very good, doesn’t explain omegas very well. Really makes you hate seals, this book doesn’t show them in a very favorable light. Narration was not bad.
