Story
My rules when it comes to my job in personal protection are pretty simple: Protect the client’s life, not their feelings. Don’t put hands on a client unless you’re getting them out of harm’s way. For God’s sake, don’t do something stupid like fall in love. Twenty-four hours after meeting Jude Archer, rules one and two are already out the window.

Xander - If I had to describe Sean Bailey, it would be as the sexy, caring, wonderful man I’ve gone and fallen in love with. I never could’ve imagined a world where he was my everything. But with each passing day, the connection between us grows stronger, and the idea of a world without him is something I can’t imagine. But Sean’s love doesn’t come without complications. The one question that remains is: Am I willing to give up the love and friendship of one for the chance of love and forever with another?

I’m a sniper. A trained operator. A bodyguard. A member of the elite private security force known as Vigilance. When my boss’s son acquires a stalker, of course I’m the one he calls to keep the guy safe. Mr. X’s one rule? Keep my hands to myself. Not a problem. At least, not until I meet Lane Porter. He’s gorgeous. Flamboyant. Fascinating. He makes me want things I can’t have. He stretches my self-control to the limit...and then breaks it.

Story
Every bartender should follow one simple rule - don't go home with the customers. That’s been easy for me to stick to, until the night a cocky, confident, and sinfully charming hockey star walks into my bar. This sexy athlete is too hard to resist, especially when he makes it clear how much he wants the “sarcastic, witty, hot AF” guy behind the bar - also known as me. Still, I’m not keen on breaking my own rules since I know where that can lead - no place good.

Story
At 34 years old, ex-DEA agent Memphis Wheland has lived, loved, and lost...everything. The ultimate betrayal by the man he gave everything to has left Memphis with no family, no career, and a bone-deep bitterness that refuses to release him from its icy grip. His work with an underground vigilante organization is the only light in his otherwise bleak existence. That and the occasional no-strings hookup with men whose only focus in that moment, and for as long as Memphis wants them, is him and only him. No clingy exes, no unrequited love, no relationship drama. Period.

Ever hear the story about the bodyguard who falls for the rock star? Yeah, it never ends well. Each day I remind myself that it's my job to protect Stone. And nowhere in the job description does it say I should lust after the charismatic, charming man. Especially since we're opposites. But every night I spend with him the dangerous, off-limits attraction grows more intense. Until one night in a limo when we combust. One time only will have to be enough. One scorching, forbidden night. Because the mistakes from the past are chasing me. And if I give in again, I'll lose everything.

I didn’t mean to stow away on the yacht, I swear. My first mistake was going home with the jerk at the bar, but in my defense, Prescott said he owned the Worthington - 90 feet of sleek, yachty perfection - and if I could get the chief mate’s job, I’d have an excuse to stay on board and keep avoiding my family and my future. How was I supposed to know he was the owner’s cheating, gold-digging almost brother-in-law, or that I’d end up stuffed in a closet when the ship left the harbor?

Story
Parrish Partridge’s true facts: There’s nothing hotter than a tall, gruff, bewildered, tattooed mountain of a man cuddling a sweet, orphaned baby, so you can tell yourself that you’ll resist him...But that’s a lie. And when that man asks you to do him a favor and pretend to be his very temporary, very fake fiance to help him get custody of that adorable baby, you can pretend you know better than to say yes...But that’s a lie, too.
Publisher's Summary
Three men brought together by circumstance who found something none of them knew they needed...
Ren Barretti has finally come home after a year of being held captive by the terrorists who slaughtered his entire Special Forces team. But he can't escape the nightmares that torment him or the guilt that he was the only one to walk away. The life his older brothers have brought him home to doesn't exist for him anymore, and to keep them and their loved ones safe from the rage and pain that consume him, Ren needs to disappear.
Police Detective Declan Hale has felt an undeniable pull toward the very straight Ren Barretti since the day Ren's brother married Declan's younger sister almost a dozen years earlier. But even though the Ren who has come home isn't the one who left, all of Declan's feelings come rushing back to the surface, and he steps in to help the only man he's ever truly wanted. And even though there's no future for them, keeping Ren safe is all that matters, and Declan will risk anything to make that happen.
Tough as nails former soldier and mercenary Jagger Varos has returned to Seattle after years of running from his past, and he's hoping that joining Barretti Security Group will help him finally call the city he left behind home. But within weeks, his new beginning is tested after multiple run-ins with the gruff, infuriating Detective Hale. When he inadvertently discovers that Declan is hiding Ren from the very brothers offering Jagger a new start, Jagger finds himself torn between his newfound loyalty to Vin and Dom Barretti and the need to protect the young man he himself helped rescue from his captors.
For Declan and Jagger, it's hate at first sight, but they soon realize that they will need each other if they have any hope of saving Ren from himself. And neither of them expects their mutual distrust in one another to grow into something else entirely or that Ren himself will find in both of them what he needs to rebuild his life and come to terms with who he really is.
Can the fierce attraction between three men become something more, or will the demands of the real world tear them apart?

Oh these 3....🔥🔥
I just dont even know where to start. Ren was so broken when he was found by Declan and Jagger. These three men are so amazing together! You get steaming hot sexy times, action, adventure and a few tears to keep you on you're toes. Each word in this book masterfully laid down on paper and then brought to your ears by the incredible Michael Pauley. I must say that I feel like a stalker because I almost exclusively listen to Mr. Pauley. Lucky for me he narrates for my favorite authors. Listen to this series! It is necessary for life sustainment.

I love a Gppd MMM
This was book 3 in the "Barretti Security" series. Ren Barretti has finally come home after a year of being held captive by the terrorists who slaughtered his entire Special Forces team. But he can't escape the nightmares that torment him or the guilt that he was the only one to walk away. Ren is suffers from PTSD and he left because he didn't want to hurt anyone in his family like he almost hurt Mia his big brother Vin's girlfriend. Police Detective Declan Hale has felt an undeniable pull towards the very straight Ren Barretti since the day Ren's brother Dom married Declan's younger sister Sylvie almost a dozen years earlier. Tough as nails former soldier and mercenary Jagger Varos has returned to Seattle after years of running from his past and he's hoping that joining Barretti Security Group will help him finally call the city he left behind home. This was a really good read Declan and Jagger took care of Ren showing him that he was safe with them. Each man has been through a lot Jagger with his mother and her boyfriend who is Declan's boss who has had it out for him Jagger also suffered from dyslexia and he was a shame of it and thought that they wouldn't want him when they found out. Declan also went through things like he is in the closet no one knows he is gay and when he told his grandfather he was almost disowned. Ren was straight and he was even more confused when he started having feelings for both men. The sex scenes in this book were hot as hell the three of them had some hot chemistry. This book also brought home the dangers of war and the PTSD seemed so real for me someone who has worked with men and women who have been to war and some of the things that they struggle with when they come home. Each of these men have been through somethings in their past that with the three of them it made them whole. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading and listening to the next book in this series.

B- rating...
My Review: Overall: 3.25 Performance: 4.0 Story: 3.0 Totally honest opinion on this one...I should NOT have listened to it on audio and I sure as heck shouldn't have done that before reading the other FIVE books that preceded it. Listening to a book is harder because you don't have the visual cues of names that you're seeing to keep everyone straight. And there are SO MANY characters in this one. Not only are there three main characters, but there are also all the couples and relationships from the other five books. I had an awful time keeping people straight and was trying so hard to do that, that I think I must have missed details at the beginning of the story, because I have so many questions...like what the hell happened to Ren? Did I just miss all that in the morass of characters in the beginning? I'll admit that's possible, but I don't understand what happened to him that he's so messed up. He was a soldier, his mission went wrong, and his team died. I couldn't tell if his trauma was from being held captive (that is what happened right?), or from the fact that his team died because of something he did with some girl that caused their deaths, or with something he did to another girl in another book. And he's somehow been missing because his brothers didn't know where he was... Like I said, I think I missed a ton of information at the beginning of the book, just because so much was happening with so many freaking characters and all their complex past story lines that were thrown at the reader. It was impossible to keep track of all the details that mattered to THIS story line. And the sad thing is...I think I would have loved the book if I knew all that history. But I haven't read those other five books, so instead listened to the entire book feeling pretty much lost...and I hate that. UGH.
