Publisher's Summary

She was lost once, but found. He's not willing to lose her twice.

Getting lost in the woods isn’t on Bristol Wingham’s agenda. Neither is being abandoned by her friends or getting injured. Luckily for her, she’s found by one of Fallport’s search-and-rescue members. She hadn’t planned on staying in the small town, but when her rescuer offers her a place to recuperate…she can’t resist.

Cohen “Rocky” Watson has rescued his fair share of lost hikers, but there’s something about Bristol that makes him sit up and take notice. The world-renowned artist could definitely afford to go back home to Tennessee and pay someone to look after her until her broken leg heals, but the more time he spends around her, the more he wants her to stay.

Slowly but surely, as Bristol heals, the former Navy SEAL and the artist find themselves falling in love. But someone is less than happy with the budding relationship. When Bristol disappears, it’ll take Rocky, his entire team, and every colorful, gossip-loving Fallport local to find her—and the clock is ticking.

Searching for Bristol is the third book in the Eagle Point Search & Rescue series. Each book is a stand-alone, with no cliff-hanger endings.

Loved it!

Bristol and Rocky were fantastic together! I loved the patience and care they both took in letting their relationship grow naturally. It wasn’t that they took their time, it all happened over a short period, but that they didn’t rush into anything. Part forced proximity, part wanting to be there, they made the connection between them stronger with each day that passed. Bristol was so strong in the circumstances she found herself in, and Rocky allowed his vulnerabilities to show when he needed to, and they both fit together so perfectly, loved them, loved their story!

Rocky and Bristol

Searching for Bristol is the third book in the Eagle Point Search & Rescue series by Susan Stoker. What a story, this was an amazing read. Bristol is on a hiking trip with three friends when she is invited to participate in a menage with them. Bristol decides she wants no part of that and continues on the hike while the others set up camp for the night. Sadly Bristol is injured and lost in the woods, her friends went off and left her. What is she going to do, she can't walk, no one is around so wearing herself out screaming for help isn't an option. Bristol takes the bull by the horns and starts dragging herself a little at a time out of the woods to get help for herself. In walks Rocky, the diner owner was worried about Bristol and asked Rocky to look for her. Rocky is on her trail and is successful in finding her. Bristol is staying with Rocky while she recovers from her injury. The danger isn't over, a fan of her artwork has decided Bristol is his and will go to great lengths to get her in his life. I loved this book, the characters are amazing, the story is original and had me from page one. This is a must read/listen to!

Yawner

- Just mystified this book had high ratings.

The first few chapters are not riveting but gain one's attention to some degree - the rest is an utterly boring, done by everyone plot that consequences chapter skipping and leaves you with that awful knowledge you've just wasted an entire credit.

Loved it!

Great romance with a really creepy villain. This series has delivered and is text book Susan stoker. I wish other authors of this genre would use her same readers. Sometimes a good book is ruined by the wrong reader. Not this one! Loved both voices!

Should come with a language warning

Strong language from the start…”f” bomb dropped way too much. Wasted a credit on this one.

Enjoyable

An easy going book, despite being formulaic. You’ll breeze thru it in one or two sittings. And despite knowing exactly how it’s going to turn out, you’ll find yourself delighted by the caring of small town residents, and the fact everyone knows everyone.

narration could use some more consideration

I loved this story. However, when I listen I am transported and I forget it's a story. Hamilton's narration did not help me get into this book. In fact it reminded me I was listening to a story, instead of feeling like I was in it. I have heard him in other books and he is a good fit in other stories, just not this one

Lifetime movie network but in book form

This was a bit of a lifetime movie to me. Fast moving plot. Odd circumstances but finished it in two days. So I guess it was ridiculous enough to keep my attention. The make narrator mimicking the female character is cringe at times. I’d give it a 3.5
