Lesbian Age Gap Love

Alice and Miranda are law partners; Miranda has to practically force Alice to go on Holiday to her villa in the south of Portugal. Then Miranda's daughter Joy decides that she needs a short vacation. Uptight Alice meets hedonistic Joy, conflict ensues, lust follows, lust so strong that it must be satisfied.
Put that way it sounds simple but aren't all stories pretty simple when put in broad outline. The writing is well done and there are fewer of the contrived breakups and multiple cliches that litter many american romances. The natural problems of a relationship between a fifty year old and their friend and business partner's thirty year old daughter are explored as well as a couple of surprises. I'm not at all certain that this selection deserved five stars but I liked the fact that many of the genre's usual errors were avoided enough to raise it's ranking to the top number.

More please!

Wonderful sort of "coming of age" tale of self discovery at mid-life. Love this author.

Awesome!

This is the first book I've read by this author, but I was willing to take a chance. I'm glad I did. I look forward to reading more of her work.

A Fabulous Novel! Great Listen!

Seasons of Love by Harper Bliss is a nicely written romance, in which Alice and Joy, two women who are in two different seasons of their lives fall in love. This is a story of reflection, love, laughs, age, and friendship and it shows that love can happen at any age.
Carmen Rose, the narrator, does a great job narrating the novel. The book is written from Alice’s point of view and I feel that Carmen nailed Alice’s voice. She has a lovely British accent that fits the characters perfectly.

I wholeheartedly recommend this (audio) book.

Great love awakens life well lived.

it was a joy to see Alice awaken to her full self as she fell in love with Joy. What a beautiful story as they journey from holiday to a life fully lived.

not my cup of tea.

It was too fast paced for me, i couldnt feel any conection to and between the characters. The narrator's voice was pretty but extremely monotonous

Ridiculously good...

I am a critic about EVERYTHING. And at times a very proud skeptic as well. This novel is intensely captivating, colorful and ceaselessly entertaining. Well done!
