Small town life
I really liked the way that A.E. Radley was able to incorporate a child into this story as the focal character. This story develops in a way that is suspenseful and humorous. I in particular was drawn to the way Alice and Hannah's relationship grows even through Hannah's behavior. Rosie's innate insight into her mom and Alice makes for smiles and warmth. This is one of the best feel good and what next novels I have read in quite awhile. Kim Bretton did a wonderful job narrating this story and I look forward to hearing other books narrated by her.

A wonderful romance with a gripping storyline
I absolutely loved this book! It was a sweet romance with a gripping, suspenseful part. I didn't want it to end. I usually listen when I'm driving or doing things but I was so hooked on this book that I listened every chance I got. The narrator was phenomenal especially considering she had to do several character voices including a child's voice. I really hope there will be a sequel because I'd love to find out what happens next for Hannah, Alice and Rosie! I hadn't heard this narrator before and I've only read one other of this author's work. I will be looking for more from both.

Lovely story
I’ve read most of A.E. Radley’s books and this was my first stab at listening to one. The story was so fun and sweet I couldn’t stop. Kin Breton did a wonderful job with the narration. I’m very picky when it comes to audiobooks and this is my favorite so far

Great Characters
I love a good english country side story, mainly because of the characters, especially A.E. Radley's. They are always quircky, funny but always loving. This story was not different and to be able to hear the different character accents just added to the experience.
