Love and History

I really loved how both narrators approached and executed this story, it really increased my enjoyment.

I adore stories that meld history, mythology, and contemporary issues and that was done really well here. It was hard not to fall for Sitlali and Calixto as their bond grew and loved blossomed. Even as we got into the darker aspects of colonisation and racism, the strength and hope that both of our characters had made this read even more enjoyable.
