This is a little different than the rest, a fun listen. Enjoyed the narrator as well.

I loved this book and it’s a good thing the story was fun and interesting enough for me to overlook the narrator. This story begs for emotion and expression but the narrator delivered a majority of it in a monotone voice

Great Story With Horrible Narration

I totally liked the main character and the story was generally enjoyable. The narrator performs well with the female voice and narration between speaking parts. However her attempts to speak in Devon’s voice was stilted and robotic. Unfortunately, it took away from some of the enjoyment of the story.

I was intrigued by the premise as I find it’s a trope I don’t see too often and could be explored a bit more. Or maybe not. I don’t know if it’s the writing, the narration or both, but it just falls flat and is missing something.

I enjoyed the story but the narration was terrible. It sounded so robotic and forced. I really wanted to love the characters but with the tinny narrator speaking for them I just couldn’t get into the story as much as I wanted to.
