Publisher's Summary

I'm not who I used to be. Valentine Morningstar, my own father, tried to ruin my life, and instead he made me stronger. But my own power will consume me if I don't learn how to control it, how to channel it to help everyone, not just myself. I have to learn how to be this new person I've become.

GC - my handsome false god, Pazuzu - my dark demon, Sariel - my fallen archangel, and Francis - my...I know what he is now, but it hurts to say it. They keep me grounded. They keep me sane, and they keep me good. Without them, I'm afraid I might just turn into a villain.

Contains mature themes.

Really good

But her stubbornness near the end about her own life was very annoying. A little overly righteous about the criminals she had to deal with to help herself. At the very least, don't cut it So Damn Close. It was was just 1 more and she wouldn't have to count the days and hours when the time came.
The cliffhanger is pretty good, too, though not so amazing that I'm yearning for a new book, which is for the best.

it's a series ending so it's good but

it's a series ending but it has to do a lot overall I love this series this books not as strong as its predecessors however it is still a good time the climax hit you quick and fast and the level of intrigue is actually very well done the hints and the clues are laid out well and we're we're falling it from the perspective of the protagonist's it's quite nice to see her trying to piece it together and noticing the same clues the audience would notice and just trying to figure out what to do with them the same way the audience does she sometimes doesn't pick up on stuff as quickly as we would as a reader but it doesn't not fit the narrative.

overall is a good story The anc's is logical to make sense the way The story goes works and it leads into the Legacy series quite nicely.

overall I would highly recommend the series but I would only recommend this book as a part of that series.
