The story is slow, the male protagonist is too much a failed attempt of being an "Alpha Male" while trying to be more sensitive, the female protagonist alternates between being whiny, and needy and boring. I expected better from Jayne Ann Krentz. I have so many of her print books and digital books in my collection. I regret that I spent money on this one.
