It took me a while to get into this story, but when I did…. It was moving, sometimes triggering, but a beautiful story. So many times characters in books are continually obtuse and don’t learn or grow. But that is not the case with this book. Characters learn tough lessons and make tough decisions, but more importantly, they find the courage to grow.
