People who say “love is trust” probably didn’t grow up in a cult. My name is Daisy Nabhitha Kittredge. I chose it myself. As an RN in the emergency department in one of New Zealand’s largest hospitals, there wasn’t much left in me of the 16-year-old girl, covered from neck to ankle and not allowed to make eye contact with a boy, who’d run away with five dollars in her pocket and terror in her heart.

Story
You don’t find many too-pretty rich boys in the New Zealand Defense Force. Turns out there’s a reason for that. Fortunately, you can find your true self in the oddest places. Of course, you can lose yourself in those places, too - at least some pieces of you. Since I was back home with a new leg, some facial alterations, and time on my hands, I might as well help out my sister. Showing a buyer around New Zealand’s ecotourism sites, having a few adrenaline-fueled adventures? Fine. It wasn’t like I’d never been camping, unlike the walking tornado that was Miss Karen Sinclair.

Story
Hemi Ranapia isn’t looking for love. Fun, yes. Love, not so much. But a summer fishing holiday to laid-back Russell could turn out to be more adventure than this good-time boy ever bargained for. Publisher's Summary
Serious men don’t eat red Popsicles.
Brett Hunter’s life isn’t unicorns and rainbows, and it sure isn’t sparkles. He’s a businessman, a disciplined man, a money man, and if he ever believed in magic, it was a long time ago. He’s not a hero, and he doesn't play one on TV. Oh, and he really doesn't like the water.
What’s he doing, then, on an Australian beach in a custom-made Italian suit, up to his waist in the waves and helping a red-haired mermaid save the day?
No matter how crazy his life gets, not being in control isn’t an option, and neither is veering from his path or falling for mermaids. Also, serious men don’t eat red Popsicles.

The best yet!
Loved Brett and Willow’s story. It was full of so much adventure: sharks, dolphins, hot air balloon, accidents, food poisoning, broken bones, scheming mistresses, a chef and a billionaire. What more could you want? Never a dull moment. And to top it all off the best romance ever. Also props to Emma Wilder as narrator. I’m an avid listener to all of Rosalind James’ books and Ms Wilder is my absolute fave. Spot on!!! Lol I loved it so much I’m ready to listen again.

Brett's story & Emma Wilder is an awesome narrator
This book had sharks, unicorns, rainbows, a chef and a handsome hero in a well-cut Italian suit. Although it seems as though these things don't belong together, Sexy as Sin is a wonderful book with interesting characters and intriguing plot lines. If you read the earlier As Sin series, you'll remember Brett as the businessman in Montana. Willow is the "cousin" of Rafe & Jace who lives in Australia. This unlikely duo meet up in the ocean where he, who is afraid of water, jumps to help the rescue attempt during a shark attack. Interesting and thoughtful, this book is not a rush to the finish to see the two realize their destiny. They each need the skills and strengths of the other to face the challenges of life. Well written and worth the listen because Emma WIlder is fantastic as a narrator! I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.

Sexy and sweet! Another homerun for Rosalind James
Overview This is the third of the Sinful, Montana series by Rosalind James, but the majority of this story is based in a small town in Australia, Byron Bay where the main character Brett Hunter, an American from Sinful, Montana, is closing a land development deal. It can be read as a stand-alone book, but probably you will want to follow up by reading the first two as several of the previous books' characters make an appearance in the third. Ms. James has written several books from the Northern Idaho area, California, and a great many from New Zealand too in her Escape series. All are wonderful escapes from reality! The Main characters Willow Sanderson is a chef, caterer, artist/photographer and lives in Byron Bay, Australia. She is a feisty and fiercely independent young woman who was surfing when a shark approached and Brett happened to be on the beach and warned her, saving a few people's lives that day. Willow is fun, a glass-half-full type, with a take-charge personality, and has a huge heart, but pulling some serious baggage from men in her life who have treated her poorly. Brett Hunter, an American land developer from Sinful, Montana, was a secondary character in previous books in this series, but I am very happy Ms. James decided to give him his own story. This time we get to see just what a sweet, strong sexy hunk of a guy he really is underneath that tough business guy exterior. He really is a wonderful character and deserves his own HEA. He too, has his own baggage and past relationship issues, and dealing with grief and personal loss as well. His back story is super touching and you will need your tissues handy when you learn about him. Willow was having a really bad day when she runs into Brett at a catering event his company hired her for. The two team up to resolve her catering job issues and save the event from being a disaster. While getting to know each other professionally, sparks fly and they hit it off without jumping into bed (I hate that when romance books have the couple just jump right into bed! This is not one of those, thank goodness!) Both of them need the strengths that the other provides and you will find them growing and healing together as they bond. It's a really lovely story and realistic enough, but in such a wonderful setting. You can't help but wish you were there. Just Google "Byron Bay, Australia" and you will know what I mean. I loved the audio version of this book -and have really enjoyed the narrator in many other Rosalind James' books too. She's very talented as an actor/narrator and portrays all of the characters so well you can hardly tell they are the same person reading them. I loved the book - it's got some suspense, some excitement, and lots of action. And of course some steamy romance too. This is a great, funny, heart-warming read that will take you away from your world for just a short bit and fill your heart with wonderful characters and a memorable storyline. The book will stir your emotions and remind you of the importance of family. Make sure your tissues are handy! These were wonderful characters to read. We also get to revisit some old favorite characters from previous books, but this one can also be enjoyed as a stand-alone. Another great book by talented Rosalind James! Would be a sin not to listen to this book
Well that would be my favourite in this series so far. Excitement and drama in the first first few pages and a story to keep us guessing throughout the book. Ms James’s usual steam between her lead characters and her ability to make you feel like you’ve travelled to the destinations in her books. I loved Dave the driver, really hope he gets his own story. Loved the footy references as well Spoiler Heads up though, Dave’s footy team didn’t win the Grand final. Ms James is an automatic purchase for me. I received a free copy of this book in return for my honest opinion, this opinion is my own and I was not compensated in any way.

No matter how crazy his life gets, not being in control isn’t an option, and neither is veering from his path or falling for mermaids. Just from looking at the synopsis you know that Rosalind James created a great book. Brett was a secondary character is the other Sinful books and was hoping Ms. James would create a story for just him. She did disappointment! I loved listening about Brett and Willow; She was able to bring him out of his suits and not to be so disciplined when it comes to work. This story has everything: handsome sexy hero; strong, fun heroine who sees the best in everything; sweet romance and human drama; humor, tears, and incredible settings. This is a fabulous story that stands on its own, but if you start with this one, you'll want to go back and listen to the rest of the series, too. Then listen to everything else Rosalind has written. This story can be read as a standalone, but it is best to read the rest of the series. "I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Sexy As Keeps Getting Better!
Sexy As Sin is a wonderful , standalone romance/suspense novel by Rosalind James. (Although it is book 3 in her series.) Emma Wilder's narration takes the story to a new level of intensity. Brett Hunter is a big time developer spending time in Bryon Bay, Australia to work on another deal; Willow Sanderson is an amazing chef/ caterer working hard to make her dreams come true; they meet on the beach as the result of a near tragedy that leaves them both unsettled. Their paths continue to cross and their relationship blossoms from acquaintance, to friendship, to somethin more that includes lots of sexual tension. Ms. James builds up their attraction slowly and Ms. Wilder continues on that path. In fact, Ms. Wilder does an awesome job filling out all the characters and bringing the story to life! As the story unfolds and the weird "accidents" and unanswered questions pile up, both writer and narrator draw you deeper into the suspense, including the sexual tension which Ms. James is SO expert at writing. The final denouement of the mystery and Brett and Willow finding their own answers make this an excelle read and listen. I recommend this Audible book , whether you have read the written book, orang of the others. You will not be disappointed at all.

Loved the book, LOVED the narration
I absolutely loved Brett and Willow immediately I starting reading the book. I was so excited to listen to the audiobook because Emma Wilder does such a fantastic job narrating Rosalind James’s books. She did not disappoint at all! She brought two amazingly well written characters to life. The combination of Rosalind James’s well written characters and Emma Wilder’s narration makes for a fantastic listen. I truly recommend this as a listen for someone who either doesn’t have the time to read or wants to read as well as listen! "I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Never to Sexy!
I just can't get enough of the James/Wilder Combo!!! I love how Ms. James writes, it's beautiful, meaningful, and touching. She has a way that draws you in right from the beginning and keeps you there right up to the end and when it's over- you want to cry b/c you don't want to leave the characters. Ms. Wilder seamlessly narrates Ms. James' books with ease, she nails the characters and does a wonderful job with the accents and children's voices as well. Brett is an American visiting Australia on business. He had no idea he would fall for an Aussie, shark fighting, chef. Sexy as Sin is Brett and Willow's story. Brett showed up in Books 1 & 2 and has been a little bit of a mystery. Willow brings out his playful less serious side and we get to see a different Brett. There are some fun moments and some very touching moments, I love the way Ms. James speaks to us through the characters, so beautiful. This book will definitely be on repeat! YUMMY!
Is there anything better in life than a book with excellent sex and food? Actually for it to be real life would be better but I won't hold my breath. I loved this story when I read the book and listening to it with Emma Wilder's narration makes it even better! It has all the requirements from a hot millionaire, hot food and a hot Australian summer. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Another Delight from Rosalind and Emma
The combination of Rosalind James' story and Emma Wilder's performance once again is an exceptional treat. I have truly enjoyed all of the Sinful Montana series and am happy to see Brett get his story told. Emma's vocalizations bring life to the story. Like Brett's life, this story is not all "unicorns and rainbow". There are some very touching and emotional moments as well as some very hot scenes - be warned very hot! But it was a delight to listen to Brett & Willow. If you enjoy a good romance with a side of a little mystery and an Aussie accent - this is the book for you.
