The first in the “GhostWalkers” series is about a group of psychically-enhanced elite soldiers and how this experiment was a really bad idea. While the doctors and military want it shut down, a rogue military general wants it to either continue…or destroy all involved in a mad quest for power.

Amidst the chaos, a sort of psionic Romeo & Juliet takes place. The premise is solid but some of the exposition is extremely long: lots of medical reports and encrypted files and all that jazz. If you’re a hard sci-fi person, you’ll love it. Me? I just want our rugged antihero to get the girl and kill the crappy general who holds his thumb over these soldiers’ very existence.

Good story. Dislikable and toxic main characters. Sex scenes are hot but coupled with bad dialogue. When our star-crossed lovers finally first make physical contact, Mr. Military Romeo—after being so gentle—inexplicably says “were you thinking about someone else?” Hey dummy, she’s a virgin who gave herself to you…try not to be a douche. And a woman wrote this? That’s what confuses me: the characters are too one-dimensional for a story this complex.

I came for a sci Fi but I hear the phrase "generous breasts" way too many times to be able to finish the story...

I thought I found this in science fiction but apparently should be in erotica or even in XXX; it watered down the story or maybe there is no story but pages stuffed with sex.
So if you want a story, skip this book or maybe this series.
